Congratulations! I spent 2 hours yesterday trying to improve my highscore... in vain, no regrets.

Improved my score to 42,770... no death spawns this time, only dying by my mistakes. Decent score anyway. @ Vocelli: Hi, I just want to let you know that I noticed my name appears twice on the scoreboad (I am the same Khryssun who hates Skeet Shoot).

Up too... It's not an illusion: the X and Y position of the character are both increased/decreased at the same time so you reach a destination twice faster diagonally than if you move in two steps: vertically then hoirzontally (or inversely). Though, the progression on each individual axis remains the same so zig-zag or not will take the same amount of time to go (bottom <---> top) or (left <----> right). About the fire of the robots... I don't shoot them (unless to avoid to be killed): on the contrary I let them continue their way because there can be only one fire robot at the same time on the screen.... this means that as long as it is displayed on the screen, other robots can't shoot at you.

Almost doubled my previous score : 30,600 My tip : intensive use of diagonals shooting... if this can help... Indeed... E.T is one of my favorites too.

It's much better with a real console and a joystick... 16,970 The worst game for me is Skeet Shoot: it's ugly and the gameplay is so poor that I wonder if I even can call this "a game".

I received my Harmony cartridge yesterday (only 11 days to come to France... really fast!). I changed the firmware to Pal and wooohaooow it works like a charm (both on my 2600 and my 7800 scart model). Thanks to all the people who created this wonderful cart!

Hi there, It's been years since my last visit... and oh god, there are so many wonderful new things here. Harmony looks realy fantastic and I can't wait to get one. But I'd like to know if I'll be able to use the Harmony cart with my modified 7800 (Eckhard Stolberg DevOS 0.2) without problems? (I lost the original 7800 BIOS ROM... I know I'am unforgivable). I've got another question related to the Harmony's Paypal order page: it's undergoing maintenance for more than 24 hours now, any idea when it will be operative? I visited this page for the first time yerterday, so maybe it lasts for longer? Anyways, I hope it will be back soon. Glad to be back. Thanks in advance for your answers. Cheers, Chris

E.T. is one of my favorite 2600 games and I think it is very underated. Of course it cannot be played without reading the manual! Then, it just requires some practice to learn how to manage the pits to avoid to fall again and again (and again... ). Completing the adventure may be hard without a good timing for the final part. Anyway with some game experience it is very exciting. Cheers
