    It's the first time I won at an Atariage contest... BIG TIME :D :D :D

    Well, I have two questions :

     

    1) Is a PAL cart available or all the carts are NTSC (I have a PAL system) ?

    2) Where I have to send my postal address for Atariage to send me the cart ?

    May I sent it directly to you Albert ?

    I never figure before how this game could be fun to play.

     

    This game is really great !!!

     

    As soon as I received the package I decided to try the game with my wife... we played for a very, very long time, testing all the variations... this game is such addictive...

     

    The game was displayed in black and white because the cart is ntsc and my system (secam) works with pal games :(

     

    If any of the persons I know here own an extra PAL cart of this game in good shape to sell.... please contact me, I'd really like to play it with colors ;)

    ... I remenber the games breakout and circus atari were included too.

     

    and for the output as i saw two cinch connectors, they must be video and audio out (no ntsc signal here).

     

    I already own a TV boy, for the battery, I use battery (accumulators) that can be reloaded again and again and I can play for hours with them ;-)

    Maybe some of you know it already....

     

    I saw this TV Boy like system this afternoon at Toys'R Us... I don't bought it because I haden't too much money to spend and it only included 20 games.

     

    Anyway it looks very nice :

    All the system is include into an Atari 2600 standard Joystick but it have 4 switches on the front :Power On/Off (with a red led) - Reset - Select - Start.

     

    The games included I Remember were :

    - Pong (I think from the screenshot it was Video Olympics)

    - Asteroids

    - Missile command

    - Yar's revenge

    - Gravitar

    - Adventure

     

    .... sorry I have a very bad memory :P

    The first game I'm thinking about when talking about the BEST game is Yar's Revenge.

     

    Why ? Because it's very addictive and what a pleasure to destroy the swirl in Mid-air ;) every time I did it it makes my heart beat accelerate :D

    In fact, I bought this game for the C64 when it was released and it was awsome (IMHO all the activision games for the C64 are jewels).

     

    I never owned it for the 2600 in the past... I got it for the VCS 2600 only some monthes ago and I found it was a very damn good release for this system... a very nice design and programming work !

    I recently bought a PAL Video Olympics cart with the standard Video Olympics picture front label (with a YELLOW title) but with a GREEN title end label. :?

     

    Is it common that the Front and the End label Title color is different for this cart ?

    I dumped SECAM carts a while ago... but the dump files were similar to the PAL ones.

    I dumped SCHTROUMPFS (French version of SMURFS) and ZAXXON.

     

    The carts with the mention "System TV SECAM exclusivement" (= for SECAM TV only) printed on the front label seems to be only PAL carts with a French mention to the local TV system, but nothing else.

     

    When I'am using SECAM Carts with my 7800, the PAL palette is used, and I never found carts with a SECAM palette so far. (I tried with the 3 SECAM cartridges I own : Schtroumpfs, Zaxxon and Keystone keypers).

     

    IMHO SECAM Palette cartridges don't exist because the PAL->SECAM palette conversion is done by the SECAM VCS 2600 unit which uses the luminosity intensity of a PAL color to define the SECAM color to be displayed on the TV.

    i've got 2 pal obelix carts, I think the 2nd one is uncommon :

     

    - one with the "p" on the end label and with the standard front label.

     

    - one without the "p" on the end label but with a uncommon front label :

    the red band where's written obelix is thinest and goes through the

    silver borders of the label (It takes the entire width of the label)

    This one is different from the one shown in the AA pictures database.

    I haven't see a lot of this model on ebay, I think it's rarest.

    WOW! One of my all -time favorite PC games from back in the 80s is being released again in a new and improved version! SWEET! Anyone Else remember Defender of the Crown? Anyone else buying the new game?

     

    Great new, It was a really good game :-)

    One of the Best is Skeet Shot

     

    I play hours and hours... 8)

    This cart is always plugged into my VCS.... :D
