  1. GOOD DEAL ! Especially with the two uncommon white boxes games
  2. Well, Casino (Berzerk, E.T., SQ Earthworld) Darty (Hounted House) Toys'R Us (vaguard, galaxian) And there was this toys shop but I can't remember it's name where I bought SW The Empire strikes back and where My Mother bought me Yar's Revenge and Star Raiders both for christmas... Thanks Mom, I miss you I don't remember for the other games
  3. Never heard of this before. Looks Cool ! It should be very rare. Great to have to complete the pitfall collection
  4. I scan it again and use a good ratio to reduce the file size to 89 ko and keep a nice display. Thanks
  5. ZylonBane wrote Well, I haven't saved the file in a lower quality, I let it in "best quality" (ratio 1) (Well, you make me doubt, I'll test this procedure again ). I just reduced the color depth to 8 bits before save it again in jpeg format which automatically increased the depth. Anyway thanks for your infos about how jpeg format works
  6. Have a look here : http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?q...10&BasicSearch=
  7. Well, the original JPG file I had was 846 ko, so I reduce the colors to 256 then I reconverted the picture to jpeg (which automatically upgrade the file color depth encoding but only using the 256 colors I had) so I get this 200 k file. Thanks for your suggestion
  8. So with two requests I made this a priority #1 mission. Enjoy Greetings, Manuel Thanks Manuel !!!! This is a great new
  9. I put the magazine scan into a new topic http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...p=382907#382907
  10. Here is the scan of an advertisement I found in a 1983 video games magazine about the game deep throat. The image is now 24 bits with smaller size ! Thanks to Artlover and ZylonBane It's obvious the game box displayed is a mok-up. Does someone got some infos about this title/publisher ? I have found nothing. It seems to have been unreleased (another prototype to be found by tempest ? ) Any comment / suggestions ?
  11. The commando Highscore theme is awsome (the c64 version). It'd ve very cool thanks
  12. Would it be possible to post of pic of this magazine page? Might help shed some light on the subject. Yes I'll do as soon as I'd reconnected my scanner before long
  13. Did a such company released games for the Atari VCS 2600 ? at least that what this company was supposed to do regarding the old video games magazine I was reading this morning... But I haven't found any ressource about it And for those wondering about the game title, there's a picture of a mock-up of a game box named Deep Throat... for the young ones it's a kinda of.... how to say.... game.
  14. The main reason for the server change was to get the site running on a machine witih more memory. This gives MySQL more room to breath and should prevent it from swapping out to disk, which would sometimes cause the site to slow down considerably. The new machine also has a much faster processor, which helps as well. The intent of the move was not to make editing faster, as this is an inherent problem with the PHPBB forum software. This problem will go away once we switch to new forum software, which is something I hope can be done within the next two weeks. Editing posts will then be immediate, with no delay whatsoever. The forums will also be faster overall than they are now. ..Al Thanks for your explanations Al. I'm looking forward the switch to the new forum software
  15. Notes about the new server : - I haven't noticed an extra speed enhancement about the forum speed. (Indeed, It was already very fast for me ) - Lag for the edit fonction seems to be shorter than before but this fonction is not as faster as I expected from the new server. Sorry to have said that , anyway this is not very important !
  16. bryede asked I think it's because the games released for the VCS were more addictive than those relseased for other systems.
  17. Well, it seems everything was said to try to solve your problem. Anyway, Welcome to the board.
  18. Maybe I've posted this topic before into the wrong section, it seems few people have seen this topic (or maybe it's just uninteresting... ) so here is the link : http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...p=377531#377531 Won't you find this usefull ?
  19. Maybe I've posted into the wrong section, it seems few people have seen this topic (or maybe it's just uninteresting... ) ....I'll put a link into the 2600 section Is my idea of a 2600 Programming/Misc Tools direct download section is bad ? It will alllow to have direct access to all the 2600 related software without having to spend hours searching all the web for a particular program. So, Atari Age will be a good software ressource center too Alex, Albert ? What's your point of view ?
  20. oH;óh,,, Haha, yes, it'll force you to be more careful when posting messages.. <grin> Although I imagine you are now. ..Al Ooooooh Noooo Please,.... I always see my mistakes ONLY after posting
  21. Yes that's what I'am talking about. (It's not for the forum section)
  22. Hi, I think it would be interresting to create a comprehensive "Programming/Misc Tools" section. This one could have direct software downloads and/or tools' authors webpages links to the latest version of softwares like Hack-o-Matick, Dasm, Z26 frontend... A such section could be extented to other systems... Just an idea, What do you think about it ? Chris
  23. Hi jahfish, I'am happy to see you again on this forum but I'm sad to learn that you had so much troubles (I wasn't here for a very long time, and I'm back since about 2 weeks only). I hope sincerely that all will be fine for you now ! Bon Courage Chris
  24. I know this was supposed to be impossible (Is far as i knew nobody done it) but as I'm back to the scene for some days since a long, long time and I missed a lot of things, I'm wondering if there was some new infos about this stuff ?
