Cybergoth wrote you are right manuel, the "Who Dare Wins" series are very good games !!! But the topic was about Commando so I just mention the C64 Version of this game But as ApolloBoy wrote about the C64 version I Love especially "the top ten - Enter your name " Theme, which is really damn good.

The C64 version was not bad too.
  5. Keir Wrote Does Tutankham exist only in this box form or it was also sold in the 2 pieces box format ? Thanx
  6. "The Combat A.I. is too much adavanced. I never win against the VCS." "Atari Games Boxes Artwork is ugly." "I finished Yar's Revenge, there isn't enough levels to this game".
  7. Hi, Just wondering if there's some photo limitations ? And where to send it ? Thanks chris
  8. When the Darth Vader Model was stopped to be produced/sold ?
  9. Unfortunatly, I sold my first VCS 2600 (Woodgrain Model) with a bunch of games to buy a Colecovision. BTW I never had the same fun to play colecovision games than VCS 2600 ones. My first VCS was a gift of my beloved mother and I still regret to have done this mistake. Fortunatly, I hadn't sold all my games and when I was 20 or 22 (I don't remeber exactly) I bought a Darth Vader' Model :-) Few years ago, when I discoverd the web, my main goal was with the help of Atari fans contacts and ebay to rebuild my original game collection. I even bought a woodgrain model and a 7800 2 years ago. Today It's still missing the following items to complete my collection : - Swordquest Earthworld Pal Version (I got a NTSC one). - Breakout Box, European Manual and Pal Picture Cart (I got a Text cart).
  10. lost games are arranged alphabetically in a box. Atari Inbox games are arranged by rainbow color box range (just like on the magazines pubs) on shelves. Silver ones are appart and other company too in no special order.
  11. Thomas wrote : Indead ! Paddles are Potentiometers (1 Kohm if i'm not wrong) with 1 switch each (fire button) and Joysticks are just 5 switches. The 2600 just read all the inputs and define each appropriate internal registers.
  12. Definitly SKEET SHOOT. The worst game I ever played... I wonder if "play" is the good word for this game......euh....And I wonder if "game" is the good word for this thing
  13. Nice review Paul, I know it's uncommon but E.T. is one of my favorite games
  14. is this gun that was only sold with a game (I can't remember the game's name) ?
  15. Hi, I'am working on my new project (Temporary name is "2600 NETWORK ENGINE") that will allow to play multplayers VCS 2600 games (Combat, Video Olympics...) using Local Network/Internet. So, all atariage members will be able to play together I have to re-program these games (they where working under Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP only (sorry for mac users)). The question is : What's your preference ? : - Original graphics and sounds. (my personnal choice) - New and enhanced graphics and sounds. If you're interested in this project, please let me know your choice ! Thanks Chris
  16. First, thanks all for your replies. So many games you'd like to play in multiplayer mode, It's hard for me to make a choice. So I think I'll make a Top 10 games selection and I'll subit the request to the webmasters to make a pool here to select the one I'll program first. I think it's the best way to procede. So don't stop to subit me more suggestions, I need your help. Thanks
  17. A *BIG* hello to my old friends here and to the new ones I don't know yet. I guess some of you wondering about me since I leave the scene a year ago : I had big health problems, but things will be better now ... I'am back with good and bad news. let's go : - First I think I won't create any new games for my VCS Simulator program. - BUT I had the idea to re-make some VCS 2600 games playable via internet. I think this will interest some of the atari 2600 fans here : what about playing combat, outlaw, surround, slot racers, space war... against another guy (or girl) of the atariage forum ... ? hmmm ? I just started to work on the concept and I need to be familiar with my new programming tools, so don't expect any game before 3-4 monthes (at least). But I need your suggestions and especially the help of the WEBMASTERS. Albert, Alex, will it be possible to make a poll for me asking about the first game to be developped for online gaming ? Please let me know. Anyway I'm Glad to be here with you again for new adventures and a lot of fun  Chris khryssun.cjb.net
  18. Is the game Keystone Kapers ? If it is I'll explain later how I found it...
  19. This is a NTSV Version. (does someone know if a PAL version exist ?). The game screen freezes when I start a game. This is the first time a game locks with my VCS (darth vador model). I'll test it with my old woodgrain model...but I think that won't solve the problem. It works fine with my 7800 Scart model when adjusting the V-Hold.... Is the NTSC version locks the same way with a PAL VCS ?
  20. Since I came back to the forum, I haven't see any post from twit. Someone got some news from him ?
  21. > Albert I'll send all for the database within a week > Jek Woaw a spanish version. I think all these European versions with a different name on the label are very interresting for collectors as they were produced only in some European countries. I think the german version is called Smurf too, I wonder own many variations of this game exist (I mean with a different name). Anyway, comparing to the large number of this game produced with the Smurf label on it, I think these cartridges are more than uncommon (on a worldwide point of view). >Jobf yep, It was a bargain I think i got a lot of luck and It goes with the notice I din't own so far >Eckhard Indeed, about the schtroupfs dump file I sent you, I remember it was the same as the PAL version but just with a different bankswitch address. I recently bought a Keystone keppers cart with the S label on it. I'll dump it and send you the binary if you're interested in.
  22. Hi, It's a SECAM CBS Cart. I'am pretty sure it was only produced in France. The game is the same game as smurf (rescue in gargamel's castle) but "sctroumpfs" (the French name of smurfs) is printed on the front and on the end label. Regarding the large number of games produced for the PAL or the NTSC system, I think SECAM Games are very rare because of the low cart production, and this one especialy because of the original French label mentioning SECAM version with a different title. I think, It should be very, very rare. Albert, alex or tempest what's your point of view ? If you are interested I can provide the cart, box and manual (in french) scans and the rom dump for the database. Please let me know.
