I bought a 7800 from france to play and i'm in the USA
khryssun replied to the_man_myth_legend's topic in Atari 7800
In fact two 7800 models can be found in France. The 1st one is the classic TV connector model. The Second is a SCART output model. regarding the number of colors displayed / palette used, compared to a SECAM 2600, I think both are Pal models. 7800 SCART pinout is Here -
Hey twit, thank you for this nice find ! BTW, about the only 2 bytes differents at the bankswitching address, I encounter the same thing with my Secam schroumpfs (smurfs) version compare to the Pal one. Any idea, why only those 2 bytes are differents ?

While talking about the ODYSSEY 2... I've got a 7401 model but I haven't the TV Scart cable... I'm looking to build one but I'm missing the pinouts. Someone has some informations about that ? Using a multimeter I found the following infos : - 3 pins have a 3.48 V output : I guess they are the R G B pins. Am I right ? - 1 pin has a 11.58 V outpout (=12 V) - 1 pin has a 5.12 V outpout (=5V) - 2 pins with 0 V (? Ground) - 1 Pin with 1,90 V (?) Please help required

ben, I know what you mean about skeet shoot. I had this game in a pack of games I bought... in my opinion, it's the worst atari 2600 game I ever play... Is far as we can talk playing about skeet shoot... It's a anti game

Jerome Domurat's "lost" intials in E.T. - one step
khryssun replied to Scott Stilphen's topic in Atari 2600
Whoaw, big time in the VCS 2600 History ! It was just awsome the way you go so quickly to find this easter egg hidden for 20 years ! I saw this topic grow and grow so fast..... Congrats guys !!!! My prefered time in this topic is when StanJr asked : quote and scott replied : quote: *GASP* What?!? Stan, you're my new best friend Yep, those are the initials. Hey scott, this is a piece of anthology. I hope you'll include a little story about this magical message board event. -
Jerome Domurat's "lost" intials in E.T. - one step
khryssun replied to Scott Stilphen's topic in Atari 2600
Nice find Scott. Now I'm sure to search for a real 2nd easter egg when playing E.T. [ 11-08-2001: Message edited by: khryssun ] -
Does someone got it or know where I can find it ? If you don't have this exact pic, but have a similar one of the VCS with a same perspective, I'am interrested too. Prefered : Cartridge inserted and no controllers crossing the view of the VCS. Thanks

Hmmmm... Computers were invented by a French Ingineer who recently win an action in law and received (him/his familly ?) a *Big* indemnity from the society who "stole" is invention paternity. I give you the information as I get it in a scientific TV magazine I watch 15 days ago. [ 11-08-2001: Message edited by: khryssun ]

But you are right, I don't have to worry about the real VCS graphic disadvantages/limitations due to cycle counting... My game engine passes over this problem quote: Originally posted by Twit Why is this? Is it because of the other Adventure sequal in development? If so, I still think you should continue -- this looks really cool! well, yeah it's the reason why. The others projects are for the real VCS and seems to be more advanced than mine..... but regarding all the encouragements here, I think I'll jump into the code as soon as I'd finished catapult. all, thanks for your support
