Don't take in in first degree !

I gave 4 A.M. as example, just to say "Please, Think to Europe time to ajust the chat time".

BTW who talk to wake up ? the problem would be the time to go to bed

  2. Mitch, that's great !!!

So, you'll play your SCART 7800 with a very good screen.

    I hope this will work.

Please let me know if you get one ST monitor and try it.

The numbering is different because I do it myself : to define the pineouts, I tested the cable with a multi-meter.

  3. I had both systems and a coleco between the VCS and the C64.

Curiously except some games, the coleco wasn't a very interesting machine for me, but C64 was and is always one of my favorites systems.

One of the best thing is that great titles were ported both to the VCS and to the C64.

as the gameplay is generally the same I prefer the C64 version, due to the graphics improvements.

Just thinking to Decathlon, H.E.R.O., Pitfall 1 & 2, Joust, Pac Man, Rampage, Space Shuttle among others.

can't remember. Does Keystone keepers was ported to the C64 ? I think yes, but I'm not sure.

    Yeah you are right.

I can't remember the cause, but there was an incompatibility problem.

    Maybe it was betacam.

I wondering if someone else has got this film ?

it will be possible to convert it to mpg2 format.

Yep, not exactly this way but a I think about a system of bonus and upgrade : Timed Shields, Massive destructive boulders, Magic Missiles...

At first time I'm looking to complete the VCS Simulator version, but I'm seriously considering to program a lighter VCS version later.

I'm looking forward to play your game

About my "suspended" version, regarding the bestiary, personnaly I had some problems with my dragons sprites.

  6. As I said in a previous post, I've stopped the development of At-a-Venture (Adventure 2)for the VCS Simulator.

The 5200 Adventure 2 project seems to be more advanced than mine... so I decided to suspend it for now.

The good news : I'm workink at a new project that was spinning round in my head for some monthes.

It's a port of an odyssey 2 game : Catapult with a lot of improvements.

The game should be ready for christmas (I hope).

  7. Thanks scott

    Jack,

just after I finished ewoks, I though to port Pink Panther to the VCS simulator.

I was in touch with a guy who had a Pink Panther game session recorded on a video tape. Unfortunatly the tape was in a NTSC format and I can read only VHS tapes on my video reader/recorder... so I closed the project.

I don't remember who was this guy... maybe it was Tim Duarte... i can't remember.

    Preferred times?

I agree with the idea of a limited time perid chat.

I think Multiple rooms are required to avoid confusion.

About the time, please make it accessible to France. I don't think I'll chat at 4:00 AM.

I've never used Eckhard Stolberg's 7800 Development System Software

well, the frontend is for the program that comes with the 7800 Dev system : 7800CTRL.exe.

This program allows to send .bin files to a modified 7800 (with a ram cart) and/or to dump 2600/7800 carts.

    Are Eckhard's tools command-line driven ?

    Yep, exactly.

So, I hope my program will be helpful.
