  7. oooh YES, I love these games Too... I recently completed Conan (Datamost)... Have you played Forbiden Forest III ? I think It's a good port of a pseudo 3D effect game to a Real 3D game and it follows the same monster progression...
  8. Oh yes Ok.... Are you talking of the 7800 with the modified OS : The Development System ? That's it ?
  9. Does one exist ? I mean, an accurate one...
  10. Is there a ressource relating the total number of : - NTSC VCS 2600 (all models) built - PAL VCS 2600 (all models) built - SECAM VCS 2600 (all models) built - 2600 Cartridges (by title/format)built ? About the VCS units, does the Serial number may help in this way ?
  11. Any device to dump Roms without open the cartridge ? Does a such device exist ? or have we to build a such item (Female cart connector wired to an Eprom Reader) ?
  12. quote: Originally posted by Joel The C=64 kind of Replaced the Atari 2600 for me back in the day. Yep, for me too. (just after the disappointment I had with the Colocovision games that I found less addictive than the VCS 2600 ones.) The C64 (was) IS a great system. I especially love(d) to play with the activision hits that were released for both systems : H.E.R.O, Decathlon, Pitfall I & II, Space Shuttle, Ghostbusters, River Raid And the ones that weren't produced for the VCS (AFAIK) : Park Patrol, Zone Ranger, Pathfinder... AT this time, Activision Rocked
  13. Certainly more than 5 times.... that must be the number of my mistakes..... and it's still working I hate when I do that
  14. RangerG, I have no idea about the price of a NTSC TV Boy. I've found only PAL models... and this one : A Super TV boy. I suppose there's a lot of variations of this "system" Super TV Boy
  15. Great RangerG ! Thanks a lot !
  16. My point of view ? Dutchman if you like what your are doing, go ahead ! Keep on programming and please create us a great game There's no reality but yours. All the explanations this guy gives are true... in it's own "perspective", but I don't think this is the way of thinking of most of the Atari fellows here. quote: I feel that a release of an Airworld game by a home-hobbyist after all these years would tarnish what several collectors and I hold as a very bright memory of our childhoods. I find this idea quite annoying, and It's definitely not a reason to deprive most of the Atari fans of a new game !
  17. Thanks guys ! vinnie, $13.50 for Klax ? That's a precise price
  18. Does someone know where I can find the game list of the 127 games version of the TV Boy (I think It's the TV Boy2, the model 1 has only 126 right ?) ?
  19. Are all this carts NTSC or there are some PAL ones? I'm interresteed by Superman, Swordquest Fire world and Star Wars ESB if they are in PAL. Please, let me know Thanks [ 08-29-2001: Message edited by: khryssun ]

    Kaboom!

Hey mike, the painting is Great ! I missed it at my first visit. I remember to have paint a pitfall scene on a wood board when I was a child. It was smaller the your painting and not so beautiful I'am wondering where it is now.

    Matthew Hubbard

The only infos I've found In the Giant List of Classic Game Programmers : Hubbard, Matthew Dolphin (1983?, 2600, ACT) Zenji (1984, 2600, ACT) [was with EA, circa 1990] [ 08-29-2001: Message edited by: khryssun ]
  22. OOOooooh It seems you post the answer just while I was writing the question GREAT ! [ 08-29-2001: Message edited by: khryssun ]
  23. Definitly not ! I've never heard of these 2 games before. Are you searching infos about these games or are you teasing us with your last lucky find ?
  24. quote: Originally posted by Joel You think maybe they could have put together an Atari speech sythinsiser thing like S.A.M on the Commodore 64. Yaeh, SAM Reciter on the C64. That's exactly what I am thinking about. I don't think they have included a sample into the card. The speech effect is certainly due to some weird programming of the sound chip. Not sure about that, but my opinion.
  25. I agree with matty, It's expensive ! Take the time to search and I think you'll probably find a VCS with a bunch of games for a cheaper price. BTW Matty, Your new pic is really cool [ 08-29-2001: Message edited by: khryssun ]
