  5. quote: Originally posted by Jahfish from you, khrys, i could need a list of all carts specially released as secam, or all CBS and other titles that had french titles, like stroumpf (smurf) or Astérix (written with é not e) .... It's okay !! I'm glad to help you. I'll do my best to find as many informations as possible. But I know one thing about SECAM games : very few exclusive SECAM games were released. Most of the game library in France is composed of PAL games, as in Germany. BTW I have to say that I find your project very interresting... I hop you'll achieve it because I'll be very very glad to buy your book - with a dedication please
  6. quote: originally posted by Berzerk How about a PCAE front end that can show the cart images and cart instructions in text format or something? or is there one? If I'am not wrong, the last win PCAE version does that.
  7. quote: Originaly posted by Jahfish I have been dreaming of having finished my book project Cool, What your book is about ? quote: i nearly lost hope before i had that dream I know what is it to write a book... my own project seemed to be endless. 8. The best way to deal the various OS required by the various emulators is to use multiboot disks vith various O.S. Nothing is better to run a DOS program in a real DOS environment. Even if the DOS emulation is good under win 98 I prefer use my old DOS 6.22
  9. I've recently got a 7800 so.... What are the 10 best games to have ? [ 08-28-2001: Message edited by: khryssun ]
  10. While searching into my collection about double cartriges, I noticed I've got 2 RED version of RealSports Series : Boxing (PAL). At the first look they seem similar but looking closer I noticed : Front Label : ----------- Cart 1 : Copyright 1987 Atari corporation All rights reserved Made in china CX26135P CA400225-135 Cart 2 : Copyright 1988 Atari corporation All rights reserved CX26135 Printed in Hong Kong End Label : --------- Cart 1: Realsports Boxing Atari 2600 CA400255-135 Cart 2: Realsports Boxing Atari 2600 Why one cartridge has the extra info CA400255-135 ? and what's the mention CX26135P instead of CX26135 ? I guess P is for PAL but both are PAL. Are the both carts original Atari ones ? Does one of these is a pirated edition ? Any idea or comment ?
  11. Joel, Really strange !!! Your dream is not foreign to me. This "Jackpot idea" (of using usual thing to obtain something wonderful) is familiar to me. I can't remember what about was my dream, but the mechanism was familar. I know what you mean about this special felling when you wake up thinking "Oh my god, I've found the jackpot !" lol Very Strange...
  12. Thanks all, I think it's a PAL version. I paid only (!) $9.5. I'll test it as soon as i'll receive it
  13. Yeah, a multi dir support would be nice... Personnaly I wanted to modify my own MAME frontend to support Z26 but I haven't yet took the time to dive into my old code.... I prefer to focus on the next VCSS game
  14. quote: Originally posted by Airwolf Anyone knows how can I do it to run the Z26 properly in W2K? Unfortunately, I read some reports that it doesn't work with W2K Anyway, is someone has a tip......

  17. Scott, That's great.... I think we'll be able to congratulate you very soon Are you interested in PAL cards ? If this helps you to increase your score I have probably 4 or 5 ATARI carts (very common) twice. please, let me know [ 08-28-2001: Message edited by: khryssun ]
  18. I love this emulator http://www.whimsey.com/z26/z26.html
  19. I had no big problems so far... The only bad thing I made (just a few times fortunately) was to switch on the VCS before inserting a game or to remove a cart before to switch it off..... Damn I Hate that
  20. Scott, that let me think.... Are you close to complete your bet ? How many cartrigdes are missing to complete your challenge ? Jahfish, have you some other carts to sell ? I'm searching for most common carts (in PAL). Have you a sell/trade list ?
  21. Thank you Tempest I had no idea of the price. That's give me a idea for tradding Yes, I know the NTSC version is rarest and hardest to find. It's rated 10 on the rarity guide.
  22. The game is PAL in Box (average++ condition) without the manual. It's rated 7 in the Atariage rarity index. What's the price evaluation for this item ?
