Ken,
Sure... I dig it out and I email you Yars' Quest and Rays' Quest (with the simulator)
Do you want Ewok's Adventure too ? (I've rebuild the game from the complete description of the proto)
Tempest,
Your prototypes page is great !!!
note:
The motorodeo Test Board pic is missing.

But if the author of Yar's Quest ends up changing the name..and the graphics...then that wouldn't be a prob..hehe..
Exact Cro§Bow
In fact, I've already done an alt version... in this version the player controls a space ship (instead of the yar) and the title name is Ray's Quest.
That let me think... nobody found the easter egg so far. I realize I made it too complicate to find

ET needs to be played in its day, rather than now to see why it worked!
Everyday is a good day for me to play ET. LOL
It's a so challenging game.
It's hard to complete in the highest difficult level... I love the thrill of the last time when waiting for the spaceship.
That game requires memory, skill, timing and strategy.
I love that mix.

Thanks Gazp,
I'll look at the code this weekend

Afraid ?
CONSTERNED is the right word.
Do you really think that your pathetic 2 years old behaviour is able to afraid someone ?
LOL
You are just trying to focus attention on you by the negative way. Haven't you something positive to share ?.... what a pity

F of i,
You've got a very nice idea.
So what's your preference ?
Star Raiders :
0 Cook, 1 Scout, 2 Pilot, 3 Ace
4 Eagle, 5 Star, 6 Nova, 7+ ?
Starmaster :
Ensign, Leader, Wing Commander, StarMaster
Personnaly I prefer Star Raiders ranking... (more skills)

Please stop that !!!!!!
This community is full of very kind and interesting people. We don't need that 1 or 2 person just come in to make trouble.
We are here for fun !
Why don't delete such a sterile topic.

Maybe Alex or Albert will comfirm....
It seems to me there is a lot of more posting since the ranking system was introduced
LOL

Why so much hatred ? keep cool man
There's so many games which are REALLY bad.
E.T. is a GOOD game with interesting game's mechanisms. So, please stop loosing your time to find insults about this game, grab your joystick and try to play it seriously (read the manual first it's important for this game).
Have fun

The storyline of Wasteland is similar to the description I made. But, according to the infos posted at "the computer show" the review, wasteland was released in december 86 and the review of the magazine was from 1983.
Plus they said wasteland was not available for the atari 800.
must be an other game.
Anyway, thanks to have indicated me Wateland. I didn't know this game so far and It looks very good.

Nice work bob...
The Last Starfighters cart is realy GREAT
I'am also working on 4 "fake" labels.... in fact not realy fake (he he)...
-
It's a game quick-review I found in a very old magazine (1983).
It's said this game title is "The Quest" and it's a floppy disk for the Atari 800.
This games seems to be VERY GOOD so I tried to find the game image on the web but I haven't found anything with this title.
Here is the description (there's no picture in the magazine)
It's a graphic game adventure and the history starts after a post nuclear war.
The player had to cross the USA to find the last civilized human colony.
You'll meet mutated monsters, radiations clouds and giants bugs.
The game alternates day / night.
The player has the possibility to consult a map.
These are all the infos I have.
Someone knows this game and/or where I can find a disk image ?
Thanks

What are the news for the Star Wars autographed cartridge contest ?
are you planning to create a museum section with all the pictures you have received ?
-
Ok,
I've received your email too...
For the TIA files I've got the Stella manual and the TIA 1A manual.
If you have any other documentation, it would be kind to send them to me .

GazP,
For now I'm collecting infos. I found some interesting stuff but not exactly what I am searching for
Maybe i'll have to adapt some of the schematics I've found but that seems to be quite difficult 'cause I'm a newbie in electronic.
If I don't find a way to build what I want, I'll go to buy one
None of them support all the chips I need...
I'd be more restrictive so I've got to choose wisely (Eprom, EEprom).
Anyway, if I'll build one, I'll post the schematics on my web page

Are you using the printer port on the PC?
all of the projects I found use it.... it seems to be the easiest way.
Do you know if its possible to substitute a 28256 EEprom for an 27256 Eprom (with of course changing some pins connexions ) ?

I'll remember that you are a good graphic artist.
Maybe I'll need some help for my next project
