I never played defender II before, but Defender was one of my favorites when I was a child... so old reflexs (reflexes?) went back quickly I have to admit that Defender is a pain for the eyes, but IMHO the techniques to use smartbombs / hyperspace are more practical than the use of an 2nd joystick implanted in Defender II. And the Buildings looks better than 2 lines for the mountains... I know It's the arcade conversion... so no choice
