I'll join. I personally think the 5200 is the forgotten jewel of the Atari console family.
But we need to come up with a secret handshake for this to be a true brotherhood.
And might I suggest we also come up with our own gang sign? That way when the Colecovision fans show up in our hood we can do some bangin', yo.

I am very interested in this project. Can you tell me when you expect to ship the game?

Why is this topic in the marketplace?

Do you know if its the model with the "new brighter screen" or is it the old front lit model?
-
I would definitely say Kaboom. I was literally addicted to that game.
I'm also a big fan of Adventure. I used to beat it on every difficulty in one sitting. I did the same with E.T.
Atlantis, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Pitfall, M*A*S*H, Megamania, and Sequest rounding out the top 10.

Please add me to the list as well, if I'm not already on it.

Please add me to the list of people interested in purchasing this game. Take my money. All of my money.

I'll take two of everything. Glad to hear we are finally getting a manual. Can't wait to see the new box.

Which version of the Atari Lynx do you prefer?
Do you like the original model or the revised version? Up until recently I expected most people to say "model 2" because of its smaller size. However I've been talking with a few Lynx enthusiasts who actually prefer the original model. Some of them like the positioning of the d-pad and buttons on the OG. Another Lynx fan tells me he prefers the screen on the first Atari Lynx, claiming its not as "washed out" as the later models.
Where do you stand on this issue? I'd love to hear some detailed replies. Please tell me why you prefer one model over the other.
And lets just say for the sake of this discussion that you have to choose just one model. I know this may be a difficult decision for hardcore Lynx fans, but please humor me and choose only one model. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I too, have always wanted to make my own carts. Simply for the idea of doing it myself. I'll never be able to afford all the homebrew and repro carts I would like to play. And nothing beats playing games on a real cart. Unfortunately, I've done some reading on the subject and it appears some hozer has ruined the entire game for everybody. I'm afraid to even ask questions about this subject for fear of being branded a hozer.
But it would be cool to make my own carts, with my own label designs. (And speaking of label designs, although this may be controversial, I think someone needs to release a complete set of Activision labels so people can replace their original, ruined cart labels.)

I don't have to remember the Dreamcast. Mine is still sitting right in front of me.

Panzer Dragoon Saga. Its worth buying a Sega Saturn just to play this game.
I actually got my copy of PDS for a mere $5. I had stayed up all night with my friends, and in keeping with tradition, we decided to go to Toys R Us to goof around. There was a clearance sale on all Saturn items. Got PDS, HOTD, and Burning Rangers. All $5 each.

I bought Panzer Dragoon Saga and waited two years before I played it. (..one of the best RPGs I've ever played in my entire life.)
For several years I masqueraded as the retail buyer for a certain "music and more" retail chain, just so I could go to e3. I went so often people at the company starting thinking I really worked there. They would get mail, occasional phone calls, etc. (I went seven years in a row this way. Later I got a real job and now I masquerade as a gonzo journalist.)
In the 90s I drove around with a 19" color TV on the back seat of my 84' Toyota. It was covered with a blanket. In the trunk was a 2600 in a paper bag, along with some games, an extension cord and all sorts of hook ups and controllers. I was always ready for retro gaming. (Come to think of it, that last one isn't shameful at all, more like a badge of honor.)

Print some collectible Atari 2600 carts.

Genius!

I GO with the 3200 atari style look. That's cool, it is going to be 2600/7800 compatible, plus new games for it. What about a system changer or adapter to play the 5200 games as well.
Combining all 3 classic Atari console into one machine? That's a dream come true!

I have 3 versions of the VG Pocket. The original, seen in the OP pic, and the Capsule and Tablet versions. The latter had much better games and you could even buy custom fitted cases for both systems.

I just picked up Star Fox as well. Lots of fun. Haven't played it in years so this was a good excuse to pick it up again.
Really looking forward to the Holiday Season and Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land

Top 10.
Adventure, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Pitfall, Pac-Man, River Raid, Atlantis, Seaquest, Kaboom, Megamania
*Atari Pac-Man is on this list because its such an important part of the 2600 experience. Those graphics, that chomping sound. They're iconic.
When I mentioned "that chomping sound" I'm sure some of you heard that noise in your head. That's Pac-Man related brain damage.
