  1. OK, last one for a while. I figured I'd throw E.T. some love, since next year is the 30th anniversary of the movie.

Edit: Just realized I didn't fix the color of spine on game box on the front of bundle box in first image. Oops.

This one is my personal favorite.

  3. I was actually pretty surprised to see this topic. No one has ever given me crap for being a retro enthusiast. In fact, where I come from its quite the contrary. You have all these hipsters in my area collecting Atari now. These people are like "screw xbox and nintendo, we'll buy a 2600 instead. Its like a piece of retro digital art!"

And then when you go over to their homes its displayed in the living room like a piece of art (which it is). Usually its hooked up to an old school, wooden cabinet TV. Seriously, the hipsters and the art crowd in my city really love Atari. And it seems like retro is about to jump off in a very big way.

    Just my 2 cents.

  4. For those of you who still want a redemption adapter might I suggest a PC controller adapter instead?

It doesn't look like the 5200 Redemption will ever see the light of day again, even though there is a ton of built up demand. So I settled for the next best thing. I bought a 15 Pin PC controller adapter from a user on this forum. Let me just say this, ITS AMAZING! I'm using a standard "original playstation" style control pad (no analog sticks). Its perfect for many games, including Pitfall and Pac-Man. I feel these two games suffer the most when using the standard 5200 pad, playing with this adapter is like night and day.

The whole investment cost me around $20. It was the best money I have ever spent on my 5200 collection.
