    This is the biggest "what if" moment of the video game industry. These things could literally be the 32X of the current console generation. You know that PS4 and Xbox One you bought just two years ago? Yeah, well now they're obsolete. That's kinda the feeling I get here.

No matter what I did I could not get a photo that truly showed the shiny golden luster of these amazing looking coins. So here's a YouTube video of me running fingers through the coins like Scrooge McDuck. At least it gives you a better idea of how these coins look in person.

    The Free Collectible Arcade Token giveaway is back! Same rules as last year, only this time there are seven different secret words, and the more you collect, the more chances you get to win. Simply find the secret words, send in your mailing address, get a collectible arcade token in the mail. Atari Age members ALWAYS win prizes in this contest. So your chances of winning again are really good. We even gave a shout out to Atari Age in our mailing recap last year. We honestly couldn't do this without you! There's a lot of rules and stuff you need to read before entering. Nothing major. Just stuff about properly formating your mailing address and the usual privacy guarantees. THE COLLECTOR CLUB IS BACK: Apparently if you joined last year you're covered until the end of 2016. It's kinda hard to explain what it is so you'll just have to read about in on the link. We are definitely going to have another new coin for the Portland Retro Gaming Expo this fall. That coin will only be available at the show, with a very small number saved for club members. I also have an incredible design I'd like to use for a third coin to be distributed at a certain arcade expo in the fall. I still have a few things I need to work out first.     NX isn't a portable, nor is it the replacement for the 3DS. The cartridges are more like SSD hard drives or giant SD cards, with updates, patches, DLC content stored on the cart itself. At least that's what I've been hearing. Too bad it's not going to be at E3. Officially anyway...

    That's an interesting theory. I wonder if we have any AA members on the company registry who could answer this question? And you're right, if the Retro VGS shows up again at E3 it will be utter pandemonium. E3 2016 is already going to be a very controversial show. The expo lost four major exhibitors this year. Activision, EA, War Gaming and Disney. EA is actually holding their own show, which is open to the public and will compete directly with E3. However, Take 2 / Rockstar, has said they're going to attend E3 in a "big way." There's also going to be the possible launch of the PS4K and the Xbox 1.1. Both of these consoles have the potential to be the 32X of this hardware generation. Throw another Retro VGS prototype in the mix and things will get really crazy. https://www.e3expo.com/home/ Just checked the official exhibitor list and they don't have a booth. Doesn't mean much though as many companies will take meetings at the show in the conference rooms, without actually having booth space on the floor. This will be my 17th trip to the Expo. Can't wait!!

    Sampled it at PRGE 2015. It's an amazing product. The people behind it are total NES fanatics. I will definitely be a day one buyer, and I hope this starts a new trend for FPGA consoles.

    Today I was scheduling appointments with companies that will attend E3 Expo 2016. That's when I noticed this suspicious entry in the company database. Retro VGS, INC Registered on May 3rd, 2016. They were addded to the company registry just a few days ago. Thoughts? Is Retro VGS, INC coming back from the dead? I have included a screen shot from the Connect @ E3 App used by exhibitors and attendees.
