  1. I am still very much interested in a CIB version. I was hoping we might hear something around the release of Halo 4. Seems like good timing.
  2. Outstanding work! I wish someone would do this with all the homebrew 2600 games.
  3. Special thanks to my friend Steve W for sending me some awesome arcade tokens in the mail! These tokens are totally sweet!

  4. On tonight's Grindhouse Theater: "The Corpse Grinders" followed by "American Dream, American Nightmare 6." Find us!

  5. Our definitions of 'a little more money' are way off from each other. Given that the Omega costs $499, I'd consider that a huge difference. http://arcadeworks.n...nt-machine.html You do have a valid point though. It's possible to pick up a CMVS for about $250. It isn't portable though. The Kit is only $300. Of course you do need the Neo Geo hardware. I've been in the market for a consolized MVS for a while and I can't decide between the Omega Kit and the Analogue Interactive machine. The portable angle of this device is what intrigues me the most. Look at this thing, its like the son of Neo Geo Pocket.
  6. I love everything related to the Neo Geo, and the collector in me is strongly interested in this product. However, I'm wary of Blaze, I've heard some mixed opinions about their products. $199 seems kinda steep, and for just a little more money you could buy the Omega consolized MVS kit from Arcade Works.
  7. I just found a great case for Lynx games at my local Target. Each section holds 10 to 12 games. And the case itself holds roughly 30 games, depending on the cart style (curved end vs. straight end) The case has a fairly secure lid, nothing like tupperware, but it does the job. They come in two colors, clear and pink, and two styles. The other style (not pictured) is a square case with four sections You can find them in the dollar section at Target.

  9. I asked Joe Santulli about this at the E3 Expo. At the time he had told me that Atari Age had not confirmed their attendance for CGE 2012. The show just wont be the same without the amazing AA store and the Retro Gaming Rumble. I think that's why they're doing to recreation of the Nintendo World Championships. Maybe to replace the retro rumble.

  15. The Free Arcade Token promotion is back! Same rules as last year. Find the secret word on the web site, send in your mailing address, get a token in the mail. (or in this case THREE!) This year they have 3 new tokens. Copper, Red Brass, and Emerald Green. Each token is made for a different event. The first is for E3 Expo, the second is for Comic Con 2012, and the 3rd is for the Classic Gaming Expo 2012. The mail-away is the only way to get all three without attending the events. All three tokens are limited to 1000 units each. There is also an early bird special. The first 55 people will get all 5 collectible tokens. There is also a crazy bonus attatched to the lucky Emerald Green Token. Go here for more information: http://digthatbox.co...or_by_mail.html Posting this for people worried about spam.
