  1. The version I played as a child is the best version.
  2. My guess was $85 to $100 US. The "$500 price tag" sounds like a joke on the old AVS pricing.

  4. How many of you are planning to attend Classic Gaming Expo 2012?

If it was in California I'd go!

  5. I would like to see more A8 conversions. I was lucky enough to test a few conversions for a friend last holiday season. It was a rare privilege. I've had little exposure to the Atari 800, so the catalog is all new to me.
  6. Very much enjoying this PlayStation Vita type thing. Beautiful, sexy, gadget.

  7. What's with these homies dissin' my girl? Why do they have to front?
  8. Why yes, I have played Atari today. Thank you for asking.

Just might be what Congress needs to debate and have a vote on - HAS the nation played Atari today? National Atari Day?

  9. Are you interested in the PlayStation Vita? If you are, may I suggest this handy buyer's guide? http://digthatbox.com/the_ultimate_playstation_vita_buyers_guide.html

  10. I believe Tommo handles SNK Playmore U.S.A. distribution. You could possibly contact them. http://www.tommo.com Thanks for all the great info StoneAgeGamer! I have sent a message to Tommo and I am now just waiting for their reply. Hopefully we'll get some good news.
  11. This is a status update and a plea for help. I have repeatedly sent messages to SNKplaymore about this product and I still have not received a reply. Usually when I contact this company, as I have done in the past, they are fairly quick about their response. Their silence on this issue is a bit puzzling. I think if it was a hoax they would have just told me flat out. If you have any information on this product, please contact me. If you know anyone I can speak to, please send me a PM. Thanks very much for your help.
  12. I've been diagnosed with a terrible case of Pac-Man Fever. The only cure is to take a pocket full of quarters and head down to the arcade.

  13. Jetpack Joyride, why must you be so awesome? I can't put you down. Quit juicing my iPhone battery. I need to make some calls.

  14. Is the Sega Dreamcast old enough to be considered retro gaming? I'm curious to see what you think.
  15. You know Journey had a different front man for a while. Some guy from the Philippines. He's actually fairly good. Anyway, he's in his early 40s. I bet he played this game when he was growing up. Don't stop believing, man.
  16. We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert

  17. That's what people said when the Atari Flashback 3 was revealed. It would be nice if NSCX.com shared their reasoning with us. When you visit the site there is just a picture of the machine with the word "hoax" above it. Nothing more. Three things make me think this is a hoax. The original article disappeared from the web quickly, the strange ordering of the L+R triggers, and if you look closely, one of the pics looks shopped when you examine it closely. I don't agree with the logo missing a "p." I've seen SNK related merch (toys, etc) that still have the old logo. I just think "SNK" looks better on a product than "SNKP" but maybe that's just me. I actually sent an email to SNK Playmore. They have yet to respond.
  18. The whole device reminds me of the Dingoo. Although I kinda dig the d-pad, at the same time it seems bad for 2D games and many classic arcade titles. I had the same problem with the Caanoo.
  19. Full English Report HERE. Original Japanese Report HERE. According to both sources, the machine comes with 20 built in games (all NA versions), and features SD card support, 2GB memory, and other bells and whistles. Is this the return of the Neo Geo Pocket? Just look at this thing. Its NGPC: The Next Generation!
