Question. Does your opinion of the controller help or hurt your opinion of the game library? Aside from Intellivision, 5200 and ColecoVision have the two most widely criticized controllers.

Such drama... Poll topics imply that we are giving our opinions. Splitting hairs over the subject is hardly appropriate. Let's all move on. Getting back on topic... In my opinion the 5200 homebrew scene and all the recent conversions really give the system the edge over the ColecoVision. With that said, I still love my Coleco, with some of my favorite games being Cosmic Avenger, Smurf, Looping and Jungle Hunt (one game I prefer on the ColecoVision.) I just feel the 5200 library is more appealing to me.

5200 without a doubt. Certain ColecoVision games may look better, but as a whole there are far more good games in the 5200 library.(especially when you factor in the homebrew titles.)

That controller is completely awesome! I'd love to make one myself. And advice?

A.J. your system is brilliant. I'm definitely going to follow your example. You have great knowledge of the 2600 catalog. Speaking of which, is there no place to get a list of 2600 games sorted by genre, catagory, etc?

Greetings everyone! I am currently looking for advice on how to sort my 2600 roms. I would like to create the ultimate catagorized assortment of games. Here are the genres I have so far. Please take a look and tell me what you think. What genres am I missing? And is there a list of Atari games by genre? That would be great. Thanks in advance for your help. Also, please someone make some silver boxes and print out some instruction manuals. A bare cartridge just isn't the same. (I know templates have been posted. I have no photoshop skills or abilities in the world of arts & crafts.)

I've had mine repaired twice. Eventually it just breaks again. Two RRoDs and a faulty DVD drive. I'm on my 4th 360. The repair takes a couple of weeks. They send you a box. My shpping box was returned with a huge dent. Eventually that system died. They sent me a refurb. The refurb got the RRoD error twice. I found a guy on Craig's list who fixed it both times. (Because I didn't want to wait throught the lengthy repair process.) Eventually the whole system went belly up. My advice. Buy a new one.
