Yes, on the 800xl, you have to get rid of the socket. This is a soldering job.

Yeah, you have to unsolder that socket. That's how I did mine.

Zezba, step away from the keyboard ?. That led is only drawing 20mA @ 2v. There definitely is a voltage regulator, resistors and capacitors in the cart. Do you have a schematic? Have you tried using a different sd card in the cart?

Hello, you can't receive PM's. But, I was curious if you got around to playing with the power supply on your JVC TM-A13SU like you mentioned in that older thread. Mine still runs great a couple years later.
