http://www.ebay.com/itm/272353434126 I'm pretty easy going in general. I did the hack just to prove to myself and a few others that the Doom wad file is nothing special. Had a laugh, even wrote a tutorial of how I did it. Kind of puts you off wanting to do more things like this. If I ever did you can guarantee someone a bit further down the line will manage to piss on your parade.

I'm sure there should be a disclaimer somewhere saying for your own personal use. If you burn these to CD and sell on eBay with printed case and printed CD then you deserve to be named and shamed and banned from Atari Age.

Can't point you at a download for it, but it's out there on the interwebs. You'll see people selling copies of it on eBay, those are the corrupted version. That will be the same as the one you'll find. It's good to play for the first stage or so but the warp ship is corrupted and buggy and you'll be lucky to play much further than that. You can always look at attract mode though and see some of the later worlds. Which YouTube video did you look at?

As far as I can tell both versions of Soulstar are the full game. The corrupted version will never be fully playable due to the corrupted data files. Also the game is an enhanced version of the 32x game of the same name. There is a version of the 32x game called Soulstar X which is comparable to the Jaguar version in graphics, although that is very incomplete.

Here is a YouTube link to the warpship play through, destroy the boss first, choose what level you want, easy medium or hard. Shoot the appropriate power pylons (2 of them) and it'll open a warp disc. Go to end of runway to fly into it... You'll see it all in the video, it's the uncorrupted version of the warpship

I'm away on holiday at the moment so can't check but there were quite a few differences between the 2. One I'm sure I remember is that mine had seperate music tracks, the other version had only one music track and they used track timing to get the different tracks within it. If someone could check to see if this is right.

The broken version in all its incarnations has been floating around the internet for years. I have a fully working version albeit with some videos that have artifacts. Due to a few haters and jealous people in the 'scene' any release would be met with a c&d. There has been rumours, (read) bullshit, from a banned ex aa user that he has a fully working version too.
