Last week I tried to improve my Joust (Prototype) score.
I would like to see this game once in the HSC, I wonder which scores are reached by good CV players.

Thank God, we got this cow off the ice.

Will there be a poll for the next round?

Only a little improvement, only in points not in the ranking. Attacking Cafeman's scores is not realistic for me.
Joust Advanced --- 82,200
Difficult game for me. I hope to climb at least the 100K threshold.
I think Joust is a game, where you can reach high scores when you were already playing it as kid. (Unfortunately I had no 5200 or Atari computer at that time)
In the childhood you have enough time to learn steering the oystrichs exactly.

Now you have to toss a coin.
For example:
Heads=Joust, Tails=SuperCobra, Edge= Countermeasure

I always failed to survive the stages with maze 3.
So reaching maze 4 this time is my ambitious goal.

I played Pitfall a lot in my childhood, when it came out. But my mistake at that time was that I played it like a usual Jump 'n Run game. I never found treaures in the underground.
The maximum in this way is about 75.000, I think.
Now I know that you have to memorize the stages and shorten your way to reach 120.000. But in my age I don't have the time and stamina to do this.
Of course it's a classic, but no top game.
Avoiding the enemies is too easy, and I don't like that a video game ends like a hockey match after a period of 20 minutes.
