  1. While my minimum expectation for any game system is that it have one great game, I haven't gotten in the habit of getting things to play one game. The only exception is my Intellivision. I had played with my parents' INTV throughout the 90's, with Burgertime being my favorite game that we had. I wanted to play Burgertime a couple years ago and since the old intellivision was long gone, I bought a copy for the NES. Wow...In my eyes, the NES version was such a horrible game that I vowed to have the Intellivision version I knew and loved . Actually, I now have two Intellivisions - one of the original models (which is what my parents had) and a Telegames version (which I bought because I could use extension cables for the controllers). So I guess I have two systems for one game. -Rob
  2. Hm, for me, while all my friends / cousins had either a NES or a Genesis, I had an Intellivision. And it wasn't even that is was mine, per se. My parents had bought it new in '82 for themselves and I was introduced to it in the early 90's. That said, Burgertime was (and still is) awesome on the Intellivision. I didn't actually have my own game system until I bought an xbox 360 for myself a few years back. -Rob
  3. Wow! That is looking great- Looking forward to receiving mine . Sorry to hear that you received a message like that. Even with the delays you've been experiencing, I'm surprised what you were able to accomplish in this timeframe. -Rob
  4. If it is still available, I'll take it. PM sent. -Rob
  5. Hm, I don't regret collecting for any of my systems, but I do have some regrets: NES: I love the NES, but I paid 50 bux trying to get a working one together, only to have a fully functional top loader fall into my lap for $35. And a while later, I found a fully functional front loader for $6. Turbografx: Great system, but the games generally cost more than I'd like to pay. I'll get some use out of it yet, tho. 5200: This one is much lower on the "regret" side of things. That said, I wound up piecing one working system from 4 non-functional systems- I can't say that that was one of my better ideas. -Rob
  6. I picked up mine from a vendor @ a local flea market. Purchased it as defective- the controller 1 port does not work properly. I'll have to get around to repairing it! -Rob
  7. I don't have any pix of mine, but it's the standard RF switch for the NES, shown on this page: LINK As for power, I did have the original switchbox hooked up. It wasn't putting out a picture, but the power portion worked fine in my case. -Rob
  8. I was initially using that jack on my 4 port 5200, since I was getting no picture with the Atari box. I initially tested it with a straight cable/manual RF switch, but it sparked when I plugged it into the TV. I swapped that out with a Nintendo RF switch, which worked great for testing. -Rob
  9. I've been very interested in this project and I finally placed my order. Now I guess I need to get a 7800, lol. -Rob
