Does the NES top loader fire up games on 1st try? Is it better than my regular NES box?

  my top loader always works on the first try because the pin-connector isn't all dorked up like the front loader ones get after heavy use.

  I have 2 box NES, I went online a while ago and bought a new pin connector; installed it and it was super tight , but the games still would not work on the 1st try. It was better but not 1st try ready.
