Wow... simply amazing. I'm currently painting a room to have all my stuff, but I need those great shelves that you have. But I don't have a nearly as much stuff as you.
Where did you get those gaming posters?
-
I've been a fan of youtube videos of it for some time now, but from what I've seen the game is very broken and incomplete. I could probably even overlook that, if the controls weren't so confusing to me. I've watched probably 10-12 hours of video of the game, and have absolutely no idea how they are doing any of it.
Neat stuff, though. I really like games which let players construct spacecraft a piece at a time.
Someday I will buy this game--if for nothing else, to build a plane and fly around.
I know, but the game is still in early access; from what I've seem they been giving constant regular bug and updates through steam. There's more to be implemented. Hopefully I can actually learn to do a proper orbit

Hi all
Just got this game on Steam called Kerbal Space Program; I love physics games and this is still an early access game with huge potential.
Anyone else here a fan?
I've managed to get 3 sattelites in a loooooooong range orbit around the sun. They are following an orbit past my planet. I have no more fuel on any of them.
I have no idea how to use gravity assist to help me go to the Mun or other planets. I have a hard enough time leaving the home planet atmosphe as it is.
My manned flights are a disaster, but I have managed to bring my Kerbal astronauts back alive after launching them.
Let me know some tricks.
Cheers,
Yan

It's not actual file corruption he's seeing. When you put unsigned executables on a PSP, they show up in the program list as "CORRUPTED". Sounds like either he needs a different version of the emulator, or his CFW isn't working 100%.
I'm not using the CFW firmware. I have Sony 6.60, I just went and used the signed emulators and it worked for NES.

SNES emulation on the PSP... I don't run it, I run from it. For me an emulator has to be constantly 100% speed or I just won't use it, unless it's a non-action game like an RPG where the speed accuracy isn't quite as important and frameskipping would be ok or even preferred for level grinding.
The NES seems to run great! The SNES is unplayable though... I'll have to see what Genesis does.
-
Probably. It depends on which NES emulator you are using. You gotta read any instructions that come with. Or, at least play around with the interface.
I got the screen to expand.
Thanks for all the help all!
This matter is closed!

Welcome to Snes emulation on PSP, not that good....
Got the NES to work. Can the screen get any bigger?

Means for a game or homebrew to be recognized it must be "signed" with a special password. If that password doesn't match it shows up as corrupted garbage instead of a valid application. People found the password and applied it to their own homebrew so it appears to be a legit Sony approved application.
Finally got a SNES to work!!! But it runs MEGA SLOW...
I could not get the GBA to work. Maybe I'll try a NES.

Okay, I downloaded the files for GBA plus the GBA_bios file and put them all in PSP-GAME.
Put a rom in rom folder.
All files still show as corrupted...

I believe there was/is a site called something like "goldendragon." It was a site you could browse to on your psp, and it would actually pull down installers for homebrew right from the system. Much easier than the "RTFM" action of getting things working manually. Click and go.
It wasn't uncommon for a homebrew to fail its install, but deleting the package and redownloading seemed to help.
It also makes a nice homepage for the psp browser.
My incompetence right now is incredible! I need to figure out how connect my PSP to my wireless router. I dunno if it's WEP or what?
I've been connecting it via USB.

The PSP 3000 blows for custom firmware. I stick with the 2000 models for the slightly improved memory, component out and easier CFW.
Nevertheless, that link I gave you HERE should have signed SNES emulators that don't need CFW to be enabled.
Okay, but what does "signed emulators mean"?
-
As mentioned, the corrupted files could point to a mem stick problem (especially if you're using a microsd adapter and got a fake in there).
I don't think so, though. Has your CFW ever worked on something? When you said you downloaded it, and this may sound silly, but what did you do with it? Also, there are a couple types of custom firmware--generally its chosen by what kind of PSP you have. Some is flashed and always available, others are kind of glitched in and that has to be done manually every time your psp does a full startup.
Personally, I don't think you're running CFW and your unmodded psp is seeing the extra files in your folders as junk.
When you hold down select for a few seconds at the menu, do you see your CFW settings? If not, there's your problem.
I went to settings and then system settings and it had CFW as my firmware. But it was not permanent one. When you shut it down it goes back to sony stuff.

Give some details.. don't just say "I put the SNES emu and roms there" because that doesn't tell anybody anything. What folder did you put it in at the very least? What files? Did you follow the advice from the guy above and try running from both the \GAME and \GAME150 folders?
I put it in the PSP-GAME-then left the folder there that had the snes emu, and put 5 roms in the roms folder.
-
Did you even try my advice? Your file system on the memory stick could be slightly corrupted causing issues like this. Also, SNES emulation is great on the PSP.
Checking your file system on your memory card is pretty much step #1 whether it's a PSP, Dingoo, Android device etc..
I did the system check as you said; it stated no errors were found.

I gave up on it; I don't want to chance it bricking on me. I will just used it to play classic SNK and stuff that Sony did release on the system. I just bought on amazon SNK classics volume 1.
I might buy one of those Chinese things though, they come ready to play emulators and Willgoo, com has a few for $80.
-
Back up the stuff on your memory stick then run a checkdisk from Windows.
So doing this will make the SNES files on my PSP usable?

Hi all,
I downloaded custom firmware for my psp 3000, CFW. I put the SNES emu and roms there, but it comes out as corrupted files.
Can someone instruct me on how to do it? The custom firmware seems to be running fine.
Thanks,
Yan

Hi all,
I've always used http://www.rarityguide.com/nes_view.php to check for games prices.
I looked up my PS2 Metal Gear Solid 2 and it says that CIB it's worth around $38; but if you go on EBay it's less than $10.
Same for many other games. Is there a rarity guide that is reputable and accurate?
Cheers,
Yan

Hi all,
Another Chinese handheld console coming soon. These are coming out in droves.
How many people here have experience with JXD handheld consoles?
Cheers,
Yan

I guess I'll take them off here since they are so cheap; I thought they would have been worth more. Especially the stuntman.
-
Okay. Understood. I went by a rarity guide.
PM me with an offer if interested everyone. I can work something out.

Hi all, never sold anything before so here it goes. I hate parting with anything...
I can even give you my phone number to speak directly to me if you need to.
I've been dying to get a Neo Geo AES but it is out of my range and looks like it will keep going up in price... My paycheck is another story! Bazinga!
I dunno how much I get charged for shipping but if it is $5 or less I'll pay as long as the money goes into my Paypal account.
I was Looking to get $100 for all this so I can add it to my buy a Neo Geo AES fund. I will be more than happy to speak with any of you; thanks for looking.
PM ME WITH AN OFFER, WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT.

Very nice! Keep going. I'm 26, I didn't call myself a collector until 3 years ago I think. That's when I started full force. But I've always loved games though.
5 franchises that need to rest

Sports Genre games only need to be released every other year, so it will give time for creators to add some real changes.
I love Soccer games and have played them since childhood; but we don't need a new PES or Fifa every 12 months.
Call of duty like games; take a rest to come up with some real new innovations to shooters.
Zombie games.
