Cat got hit and killed by an asshole speeder today. It was a good 8 years buddy, I'm sure as hell going to miss you. Hope you have a nice sunbeam to sleep in, wherever you are.

  My condolences. We lost one of our cats last year to cancer. She was 12 years old. Before coming down sick, she was full of spunk and vigor.

  Thanks for the kinds words everyone. The most frustrating part is he was always careful crossing the road, but this idiot came careening down the road at break-neck speed and my cat just didn't see him in time. And, guy didn't slow down when he hit him my neighbour said. Just kept driving. I hope 10,000 angry hornets find him.
