Thanks TPA5,
Thank you for the kind words, don't think I have an 800 right now, had one a very long time ago, I do have a 400 but I would love to do all of them eventually. And l already sold 1 shirt via twitter
so hopefully the word will spread. Thank you for the tip on the BYOA forum, are you talking about http://forum.arcadecontrols.com or another one?Yes! That is indeed the one. I lurk over there a lot, this seems like the kind of things folks over there would like.

To put it nicely...
Posting pictures first always helps, and including a handwritten sign with your username, date, and the Atari Age thread title even is always good to give members peace of mind. Asking for people to request pictures isn't popular. Also, posting a price helps, as does including links to any other place where people could find feedback about you that can be verified. You'll have to forgive some of the other members, they get a bit intense when things like this happen. If you take a few extra steps, I'm sure you'll find a bit more of a warmer reception.
Welcome to Atari Age!

I like the concept a lot! I think it shows a lot of promise, now I'm not really a t shirt guy, but I'm definitely ear marking this when I have some funds free. I'd absolutely love to see a design like that based off an Atari 800, Apple II, or something to that effect.
You should show off the arcade one at the Build Your Own Arcade forums, they'd enjoy it.
Good stuff!

Bringing this back up, with a few updates to the main post.

Little bit of both. I can buy AGS-101s at the local Play'n'Trade for $35 that are all original and come with a 30-day guarantee. And the 4 games you're including would go for well less than $35. Given that it's a refurb (and a rough one at that), you're probably looking at closer to $45+shipping max, IMO. (And that's only because MarioKart:SC is one of the games.)
Okay, I'll adjust the price. Thanks for the honesty!

Is the price too high? Or is the market for GBA SP's just slim?

I know, back to the top. Are you guys too obsessed with old gaming and computing goodness to have an iPad?
-
I actually might be interested in the guts from the modded Xbox, if that would cut down shipping. I have a case, but the disc drive is dead, plus it would be neat to have a modded Xbox. Would you part with just the guts, and do you think that could cut shipping costs?

Keeping it up! I don't want to pay outrageous eBay prices for an iPad 2, it's insane what people will pay.
I'd also possibly consider a 2013 Nexus 7, although being that I'm already 'locked in' to Apple's ecosystem the switch to Android could be jarring, haha.

Just voicing my opinion, I guess... I can't understand paying good money for XBL AFTER paying lots of money for the XBox its self, only to have it red ring and become a doorstop. I have three such doorstops. Maybe that's part of the reason I dislike M$ and would rather play games on my Atari.
I have no love lost for Microsoft, but honestly you bought 3 of them. Red ringed Xboxes could be repaired for free 2 years after purchase, so really why not get it repaired? I did.

Hey guys,
I have an iPad 2 which is on the fritz, randomly rebooting and the screen is faltering. I don't really care terribly much to have the newest sexiest iPad, honestly another iPad 2 16GB would be totally fine with me, or an iPad Mini 16GB. Just wondering if anyone out there has one of those 2 devices they're not using/don't want anymore that's interested in selling it. I tried eBay but the prices are stupid, as are the people bidding them to just slightly under a blooming new one.
If anyone has one, give me a shout! Many thanks!

Hey guys,
I scored a PS1 from my brother in law, and some games. One of the first things I did was backup the games I got with it, and the ones I purchased, to my computer, and I would like to get my hands on one of those mod chips that plugs in to the back of the PS1 so I can play backups of my games. I don't want to use the original discs, just like I don't use my original discs for my Dreamcast. I'm nervous that way, I prefer if a disc is going to die, it's going to be a crum backup disc.
Anyway I want to keep the hardware pure, as I do with all my systems, so the chip that plugs into the back of the PS1 would be awesome. If anyone has one they'd like to let go, please let me know.
Thanks!

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a PS1, or a PS2 that can play PS1 games. I'd like also a memory card and controller if possible. I am located in Canada, so if someone is in Canada that would be even better!
Thanks guys!

Would you consider shipping to Canada?

I have one that I am in the middle of replacing the case on, so it will be in like new condition. Just wondering if you have any vintage computing goodies that you may want to trade?

I don't think everyone gets the nuclear powered sarcasm you just dropped. That makes me sad.
Eh, every news agency has an agenda. Fox, CNN, NBC, take your pick. It's all written to a certain bias and all news agencies at some point have been caught misreporting or even outright lying. It's the industry.
Now onto the matter at hand, I feel almost more sorry for that guy than anything. It's a sad, sad existence he leads, filled with so much hate and bitterness. Makes me wonder how he got to that point.
