Would you sell the GameCube games seperate from the console?
-
Nothing ages worse than bad/old 3D.That is exactly what I was thinking. 8/16 bit games age generally quite well, and the better looking of those take on that nostalgic charm. Sadly the birth of modern graphics and physics has ruined classic 3D games to a certain extent for me. I can still play classics on the 64, and I indeed still do enjoy them, but I don't enjoy then quite as much as when I first sat down and was awed by them, which is a shame. I'm not blown away much by games anymore. Except the Mass Effect series, I can't remember when I last played a game that instilled that same feeling of amazement as when I first was able to play Super Mario 64 or Goldeneye.

Got mine while the gettin' was good, thanks for the heads up guys!

Nobody has one of these eh?
Well shoot me over if you have any netbooks you may be looking to sell, and I'll sort through to see if I can make a hackintosh out of it!
Thanks!

Hey guys,
I have an iPad 2 that has a borked LCD screen, and is currently totally useless to me. I can't afford the 500$ to replace it, so I was wanting to get my hands on a Dell Mini 10v (1011) or a Dell Mini 9 netbook, as I can install OSX and use them as a nice portable solution for note-taking and basic browsing on the go.
Wondering if anyone here has either the Mini 10v (1011) or Mini 9. I'd prefer the Mini 10v (1011) but if the only offers are for the Mini 9 I could take one of those too.
Thanks so much guys!

Jeez, seeing what you paid makes me feel like I've overpaid for basically everything. Good collection though!

I would take 20 if you have them left and the shipping isn't bad. I'll pm you with my address

The fact that some people assume old = having value. Or that rarity indicates value. Just because it is old does not mean it automatically is worth something. My big hobby, bigger than video games even, is photography. And it bugs me to no end when I see pawn shops trying to charge $50 for a camera that's worth $15 just because its old. I have seen cameras with mould in the lens, smelling like smoke and must, and being generally filthy and STILL they want 20-30 for it. I'm sorry, but unless it's an old Leica, Ikon, or Rolleiflex I am not interested in taking a camera that beat up for that price.
On the video game side, it bothers me that where I live everything in the pawn shops it foolishly overpriced. Again, simply because its old they assume it has value. I've seen SNES systems with 1 controller and a game like Super Mario World go for $100. It's just frustrating and silly.
Ultimately I bother myself the most. I hate that I used to collect for systems I don't even play. Now I'm selling most everything off to focus on a couple systems and my photography gear. It's a shame when stuff sits on my shelf instead of being enjoyed by someone. Like my cameras, which all get used relatively often, I feel that video games should be played.

PM sent.

Would this work for the DSXL? I would imagine it would, essentially the DSXL is a big DSLite. Did you ever run any ROM's using this one?

Bumpity uppity.

Hey all,
I have a NES that's in good condition, but the top shell is done for and one of the controller ports is missing. Just wondering if anyone has the top part of a NES shell and a controller port they'd be willing to part with?
Also wondering if anyone has any USB adapters for various controllers such as Genesis, NES, N64? I'm building a little emulator machine so I can play my games without shuffling through my shelves and pulling them out whenever I want to play them. (Plus I enjoy playing ROM hacks, and it's not the same without legit controllers)
Thanks guys!

Pardon my ignorance, but is that the slim or fat PS2? I can't tell from the picture really.
-
Interested, sending a PM
-
Might be interested in that PS2 when you port a price. Putting my reserve in anyway if the price is right

You know I just finished Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. I had no idea(never playing BG) it was a re-skinned Baldur's Gate. WOw!
Errr no it's not...
Technically it sorta is. It uses the Snowblind engine, which was used for Baulders Gate.
On topic, I'll so be buying this for the iPad. Cause y'know, I never liked paying attention in lectures anyway.
-
Interested in the wireless NES controller, PM'ed.
EDIT: It says you can't receive any new messages?

-
Sorry, should have mentioned, front loader.

Hey guys,
I have some NES internals that work fine, but the case is done for. I need the top an bottom shell for a NES, and I need a controller port.
Let's see what y'all got.
Thanks!

Sending PM for a pile of stuff

I have absolutely no idea why I want this.
But I do. PM'ed.

Hey all,
Got a coupler diskettes for the Atari computer that are listed as 'rare' on atarimania.com ;
The first is "Andromeda", just the diskette. No case or manual. Here's what atarimania says: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-andromeda_268.html
The second is "Encounter at Questar IV", again just the diskette. Here's the atarimania page: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-encounter-at-questar-iv_1838.html
They both seem rare, but it's a bully of a time trying to find out exactly what they would be worth, if anything at all.
Some clarification would be nice.
Thanks!
