I haven't played Hera Primera but I tried to run it. Result is that Hera Primara runs on buzz-Vectrex consoles but does not run on non-buzz Vectrex consoles (Serial numbers 31xxxxx and 4xxxxxx). Poly.play is currently ellaborating this and is looking for a solution.

Yesterday I've received my copy of Hera Primera. I assume that in the next days many people will receive their copy, too.

Oh, I didn't expect that people do practice runs until they submit their first score. I think it's more fun and challenging to post (almost) any score. But that's just my impression and feel free to practise more. As long as you don't submit a score of 150.000 on 30th April. 😉 Thank you, Brett, for your having tried emulation on a PC out and sharing your experience. I've tried out Scramble with Dr. Snuggles emulation on my smartphone and gave up pretty quickly because of the controls, too. I had the impression that there was some delay when controlling the ship but I might be wrong. I guess my fine motor skills are just not good enough to play games on a 5.8" screen with a virtual controller. 😉

I see. You're in 4th level of 2nd level maze / round - same here. Looks as if it's me who I should try to shoot and bomb more items to get a higher score. 😉 I also wonder how you manage to get past this corner of the maze but we'll find out... Well done, Madwindoman! I hope that no anabolica, no stereoids, and no other drugs were used during playing.

4th level? I'm in level 2. I guess you could score much higher if you tried to shoot and bomb away as many stuff as possible.

Maze craze: 58,910

. o O (When playing the first 20 seconds of Scramble it really feels like playing the arcade. O.k. it looks very different but the Vector graphics are quite appealing, too). A first score: 39,350 (Vectrex console with digital controller from Victor Marland)

For me, collission detection in first level is fine. Perhaps a matter of differences in the adjustment/tolerances of the Vectrexes?

Until now I haven't experienced problems tegarding collision dtetectipn but I haven't played much and haven't made it far, yet. From what I experienced, if your shots pass an obstacle your ship will also pass savely. But in the maze there's little to no time to check this.

Excellent playing, Darrin, cheeko, and Brett. @Madwindoman: Playing Galaxy Wars SL in the emulator is always an option. Not optimal but at least you don't completely miss out this round.

Great playing, Darrin and Marc! You've mixed the top 5 ranks of the high score table quite a bit. Only constant is Brett's #1 rank.

52,956 - Original hardware Brett's 97k is really a stellar score. 🌠 Finally, I managed to score at least more than half of Brett's highscore. 🙂

(Two weeks ago I've posted a comment for Galaxy Wars SL pointing to this Vectrex HSC on your website but I guess you haven't seen it.) @jbrodack: Cool that you've joined the Vectrex HSC and submitted a first score, Justin. For a start it's a good score - my score posted first was much lower. @cheeko: Great extra effort to join the Vectrex HSC: You've bought a Galaxy Wars SL cartridge and have registered at AtariAge. But I didn't expect that you would beat Nathan's score that quickly. 😮 Congratulations to your excellent score! And thank you for sharing your experience - still needs very good skills and playing after all. Let's see whether someone can catch up and challenge you, but I much doubt it.

^ Good playing, brother @jgkspsx! During my first games, I desperately tried to identify the bright UFO until I realized that once you've shot a non-bright UFO there is no bright UFO in this level anymore. 🙄

Another great score, Brett, congratulations! And thank you for playing fair and not holding back scores. Not sure about your personal best - back in 2021 in Vector War 11 Nathan (limitzer0) scored 87,342. Mine Storm required control skills and you can get better and better when playing more. For Galaxy Wars / Space Launcher I have the feeling that it's a bit of a lucky game: In Space Launcher, if you are lucky enemies don't shoot right in front of you, and if you are unlucky they do. But I'll play more and will find out.

O.k., I see. Perhaps you can play this round on emulator. Compared to Mine Storm the control of Galaxy Wars SL is simple (at least I think) - perhaps you give it a try. Sure enough this is a workaround and not a really good solution. @all: Perhaps you can give input for the next played games and thus make help that most players have that very game.
