Rolenta,
Nice article. I don't know when you wrote it but Paul appeared out of nowhere a couple of months ago and actually refunded the money that I had sent him for 'the Core'. I think he did that for everyone he was able to contact.

Since it's "want", I'd go with...
River Patrol
Eli's Ladder
Video Life
Gauntlet
Cubicolor
-
Combat II, CGE
Elevator Action, CGE
Secret Agent, CGE
SCSIcide, CGE

When I first started collecting Atari games I found a Color Bar Generator at a flea market. I almost put it down because I found some other games I wanted more than it (like Pitfall, Enduro, etc) but the seller dropped to price to $2 so I went ahead and bought it. I didn't even know it was extremely rare for a long time afterwards

I'll third that. I've had nothing but good experiences with Tom.

I'm going to go with Starmaster but I'm biased since I owned it as a kid and never played Star Raiders until much much later. Captain Atari, I think your keypad idea was excellent!

It's a toss up. In my opinion H.E.R.O. is more fun but I'm amazed at how well M.R. was written.

River Raid. I also give it credit for being an original game instead of a conversion.

You mean that your Star Raiders cart plays the game Berzerk when you use the keyboard controllers!!!
Sorry, I couldn't resist

It was fun reading about everyone's favorite 5 games but who do you think are the top 5 2600 collectors worldwide? I could be wayoff but I'll take a stab and guess the following:
1. Marco
2. Ianoid
3. JerryG
4. Jeff Rothkopf
5. John Hardie

Usually when a place refers to a block of rooms they just mean a limited number at the listed price. Not necessarily a group in the same location. However, when I called the Plaza and reserved my room for CGE, they laughed and told me that $60/night is the regular price for that weekend and they didn't need the special code

I'd have to go with:
1. Beamrider
2. Pitfall II
3. Tapper
4. Ms. Pacman
5. Super Breakout

Made a trip to Fort Wayne Indiana over the weekend to visit inlaws. Thought that I could at least hit the two flea markets that I knew about but sadly they were both gone. Anyone know what happened to the market that was near Southtown Mall (which is also empty)? It was pretty large so I'm hoping they just relocated.
Any other stories about your favorite locations that don't exist anymore?
