    Birthday gift

I love it, especially because it feels like it's personal and that someone put a bunch of thought into what you would want. Happy Birthday!
  2. Thanks for the pictures. I agree that the issue is with the buyer. It's pretty clear from the picture that there's a small (not giant) issue with the covering.
  3. True but sliding the guard down one pixel would have changed anything and would have made it more obvious. Flipping it so that the handle is always closer to the square would helped too.
  4. Of course, I simply mean that if I'm led to believe something is mint I wouldn't expect the seller to come back later and say "you would have had to pay more for mint". I'm not saying that's the case in this situation. He didn't say it was mint.
  5. Can you link the auction? My opinion may vary greatly depending on the listing. I will say that I don't think it's fair to tell someone that they would have had to pay more if they wanted pristeen. I base my purchases on a combination of the condition and the price. Often I'll pass on something that is not in the condition I prefer even if the price is good.
  6. Wow, I don't recall ever hearing of Gamestars. Based on the logo and the cart selection, I wouldn't be surprised if Activision and Time Life partnered to create it. That might be why we never saw them in other mail order services. Great find.
  7. Or switch direction depending on which side of the square it's on.
  8. I'm freaked out. I ALWAYS only saw this as an arrow with a pointy tip for nearly 40 years and now I CAN'T see it any other way than as a sword with a handle. Too weird.
  9. I prefer cartridges but I may have to dig up the rom if that's the only way to play.
  10. Any chance this game will be re-released at some point?
  11. Not surprised that he has a bunch of them since he's selling them 12 at a time. Interesting that he's pairing them with a pair of Combats. Actually the most recent auction added a 3rd Combat and increased the price to $40.
  12. Just sent my PM. 2020 could use some Christmas cheer!
  13. Atari 2600: Dragonstomper - 65 minutes - I've never played this game before and wanted to see what this RPG for the 2600 looked like. I thought it was interesting while my brother was totally uninterested. Anyhow, I made it to the final stage but never reached the dragon. The poison darts kept coming out and taking my strength until they finally killed me. I'll probably give it another shot sometime in the near future but will spend more time acquiring gold so I can buy more heals.
  14. I think this is the 3rd set of 10 that they've offered.
  15. Seems like a touch, a touch too much Seems like a touch, a touch too much Too much for my body, too much for my brain This kind of auction's gonna drive me insane It's just a touch, a touch too much
  16. Where did everyone get all this money? I couldn't afford a pair of CPUWIZ authentic nipples so I had to settle for Hozer nipples.
  17. Thanks! I didn’t think of checking Atarimania. I appreciate it.
  18. Tonight's the first night I can remember actually shedding tears since my youngest son was diagnosed with cancer many years ago. Ironically, after an extended absence from AtariAge, CPUWIZ send me a short message that rekindled my interest and brought me back to this site. Don't give up. We're here with you.
  19. While I consider myself very knowledgeable with the Atari gaming consoles, it's not so much true with their computer line. I've been going through a bunch of my collection during the pandemic and came across a few games I purchased years ago from a professional game reviewer. One of them is Stone of Sisyphus. I haven't seen any in eBay's history so I'm assuming that it's pretty rare and this one is sealed. I was hoping to get some more info from the experts. Is this what the retail version looked like? Thanks!
  20. I am so so sorry to hear this and am praying that "never gets better" just means that it won't heal and that there are medicinal or other remedies to help function normally.
