The original poster didn't mean anything by it. Sometimes you have to take a look at the person. It was an innocent question. Let it go. Anything else just adds unneeded clutter. Edited to clarify that I was referring to the "end of the XM" question. Greg2600 squeezed in a response to a different post in the meantime

cvga replied to carlsson's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Mid-week gaming goodness so far: Atari 2600: GORF - 15 minutes Video Pinball - 35 minutes (I forgot how much I used to like this game although I could play one game forever back in the 80s) River Raid - 12 minutes Popeye - 10 minutes Tutankham - 8 minutes Venture - 15 minutes Dragonfire - 5 minutes Mountain King - 10 minutes Solar Fox - 8 minutes Space Invaders - 4 minutes Berzerk - 5 minutes Asteroids - 8 minutes Pacman - 8 minutes Vic-20: Cannonball Blitz - 5 minutes Jupiter Lander - 6 minutes Cosmic Cruncher - 10 minutes Gridrunner - 8 minutes Aggressor - 5 minutes Avenger - 7 minutes Omega Race - 10 minutes Poker - 4 minutes Congo Bongo - 7 minutes Video Vermin - 15 minutes (I was impressed with how good of a centipede clone this is) Frogger - 12 minutes -
Nice. I love Infocom games. That must have cost a couple of Zorkmid. Actually, do you have a Zorkmid? They are hard to come by these days.

Glad to hear it sounds like you're getting it back!
-
It says Intellivision in the title and in the description. I think they added that just to pick up people who are searching on Atari 2600.
-
Tigervision Prototype Polaris - Not sure about this. Help please.

It's a sample cart so it's more than likely the finished game. Normally I'd say these go for $75-100 but values have risen and this is a fairly rare game so it will probably go for more (maybe much more) than that. -
It looks like this... It's not a reward patch like the activision patches but it's an official Yars' Revenge patch.
-
A Yar's Revenge patch exists.
-
The cover art on all of these books is truly excellent. You did a great job on them.
-
Maybe for Superman but there are other Special Edition games. I haven't seen a Video Chess wallet yet but I'd be interested
-
I was going through some carts and boxes and noticed that I have two different Superman boxes (I'm not crazy into variations). The Special Edition is the older version. Is there anything that makes it special? Why did they put the Special Edition ribbon on some of the boxes? (my Video Chess has it too)

There's another log book (with a blue cover). It's in there.
-
I've never seen that one on the bottom. What's the story behind it?
-
Someone will claim that foot! Seriously, very cool of you to give it away and foot the shipping costs!

Intellivision Purchases and Deals

mr_me is correct. Look at #3 on the first page. I guess they didn't specifically say Atari only since they only shipped the entry form with the Atari version. -
He did. I can't wait until 2029 to see the response!
-
That was the solution I had also. I then tried to overcomplicate the puzzle by turning the coordinates into letters and unscrambling but I think it really is just an arrow Activision would have wanted people to win
-
No one? I can't be the only one who actually tried this.

I got this book for Christmas a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. The writing is excellent. I remember thinking that it probably would have sold better if it didn't appear to be directly tied to the Flashback 8 console (maybe it sold more because of that though - who knows). Either way, I highly recommend this book!

Original Key Art - Atari Lynx - Paperboy
cvga replied to David McGreavy's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
It's the original matting. The person I bought them from removed the glass to reduce the weight and make them safer to ship. There were no plaques when I received them. I didn't even know that it should have had one until I saw your picture. -
Yeah but the email address has a typo. Just kidding

That's awesome. I love how they always have part of the picture extend beyond the frame. I have the Space Invaders and Asteroids that were at Atari. Here's Space Invaders. -
Intellivision Purchases and Deals

It's definitely a thing but I thought it was an Atari 2600 contest. Did you get this with the Intellivision version? -
It’s been long enough to reveal some answers... Clue 1 is obviously the Scorpion located in square F5. The capital letters in Clue 2 spell FISH. He’s located in B16. I have an answer for Clue 3 but won’t give it away since it involves a little investigation and math. Im not sure what to do with the answers although I have a guess. Anyone else playing?

On a much smaller scale Lost Luggage is at least an irritant (having your clothes scattered around the airport)
