  2. So, I've decided that I'd rather have space for more games than tie up what space I do have with CE's that I'll never open. That said, I am NOT doing this because I need the money, and this is not a fire sale. Almost all of these I paid retail at the time of their release, and I know some have dropped in price. My goal here is to get as much back from that initial cost as possible. I'm not a fan of eBay, and would rather sell on a group setting than pay them 10%. Prices do NOT include shipping. As some of these are big boxes, it may cost $20 to ship to you. I pack things like I'd want to receive them, and am not going to eat the cost of shipping out of an already reduced price. Don't want to sound like a jerk or anything, but I'm sure everyone can understand the concept of not wanting to lose any more money than possible. I'm very, very picky about condition, so these are all in near mint or mint condition. ALL are sealed unless noted. If you're interested in something, please send me a pm; I won't be checking this thread for replies with any frequency, so a pm is best. I've been here for a long time, with 100% feedback, so you can expect to have a solid transaction on my end. Thanks for looking! 3. Not sure if this is happening here or not, but I'm interested in all three games.
  4. You're doing the 2600 mods?
  5. Is anyone stateside planning to do these mods for hire?
  6. Uh...wow. I've gotten my answers from my OP, but if there's a way to delete this thread at this point - mods, please do so.
  7. The Genesis is RGB ready right out of the box, so I'm not sure that comparison applies. Look, there's no argument that people will like what they like, and that if you prefer the original look on a CRT television, then by all means... However, personally, I prefer the best video output that I can get (for a couple of reasons, the least of all of which is failing eyesight.) If the option for better video output existed then, believe me, they would have used it. So I don't see the harm in doing so now if it's possible. The XRGB mini (Framemeister) provides amazing results on LED/LCD TVs with systems that are either RGB equipped (Master System, Genesis, Neo Geo AES, etc.) or that can be modded (NES, SNES, N64), etc. For those that have S-video mods (2600, 5200, Colecovision, etc.) - the results are equally amazing. Do what you like folks. This doesn't need to be a debate about which is better.
  8. No offense guys, but I really didn't want to get into a debate about what people's personal preferences are, when it comes to video output. All I wanted to know is if it was possible to mod the 2600 and 5200 so I can get the best picture possible. Looks like the answer is yes, and possibly even RGB some day soon. At a minimum, I could get them modded for S-Video and use a Framemeister to upscale the output to use on a LCD/LED TV. That's what I'm looking for. Thanks for the input guys.
  9. Ok, I'll have to ask about the 5200 then, since it's not listed on the services page. Thanks for the endorsement.
  10. Ok, thanks. Any good? What about 5200 - same thing? (S-Video & Composite)?
  11. Well, it's good to know what can be done...but I'm not that guy. Me attempting to do any of this will at a minimum result in needing a new 2600, and most likely a house fire. Anyone do really good work with this stuff? (Solid recommendations from long-time board members?)
  12. Hey Guys, I was wondering if the Atari 2600 system was able to be modded for better video output, and if so, what would be the maximum upgrade? Composite? S-Video? (I'm assuming RGB isn't possible.) Assuming that it is possible, does anyone know who is generally regarded as the best (or one of the best) in modding 2600 consoles? I'm also looking for the same info for the 5200, if anyone knows that as well. Thanks! Orri~
  13. Well, I registered for both - definitely in!!
