  1. Great info! Thanks guys!! Steve
  2. Some of the nicer collections I've seen have plastic bags that fit the 2600 boxes very nicely. I know that the AA store used to sell these, but Albert said they're out (and may not restock.) So, I was hoping that someone here might know where I can get some of these - nice acid-free plastic storage bags for the boxes (and even the carts if anyone knows.) Thanks, Steve
  3. I'd prefer to trade, but will sell if you're interested. Just pm me.
  4. Sad that it wasn't always this way. There was a point where the cart went for about $300 and the manual about $150. I think it was 2003-2004. Thats what I sold mine to for to some of the guys on DP. For that kind of jack, I wish I still had them...
  5. Well, I bought it. Call me an idiot or a noob, or whatever, but it looks Super nice (no pun intended), and seems to fall within the general price range of what you're discussing. I'd rather pay an extra $20 to get this now, then wait until Britishdragon comes in and snipes it for $130... Anyway, I bought a much, much cheaper game so the shipping on this is only $.50. If some of you would pay $100, then $120 really isn't a stretch. Like I said - I'm still new at this, and am bound to make mistakes. Hopefully this isn't too crazy. If it is, I'll offset it with my Music Machine & manual score...
  6. Seriously! Great job! Aren't you going to send that in to Twin Galaxies??
  7. What I'm surprised about is that the last sealed one that sold in 2004 (I believe) went for $1,800. I have no doubt that this will go for at least $3,500. Pretty amazing if you ask me - but Adam is completely right. With only ONE NES game that should cost more than $500 in mint condition CIB, people have been waiting a LONG time for this to pop up. One thing that I've noticed from collecting NES (in the past) and now collecting for the 2600. Sealed copies of NES games are very sought after, certain titles more than others. There isn't that much of a premium for sealed 2600 games in that respect. I used to attribute that to the contents of the games. 2600 games usually just come with the box, (tray or inner box sometimes), manual and cart. The catalogs are somewhat interchangeable. NES games come with all kinds of extras - maps, charts, figures, glasses, cards - you name it! If you want to have a complete game, it can take forever to find some of the pack-in items. Buying them "sealed" can help to aleviate that issue. Also, it guarantees that you'll have a mint cart. Just my observations... Orri-
  8. I can tell you for a FACT that this is not the only sealed NTSC Stadium Events.
  9. I'll give you $5 for the Choplifter game and $5 for the Berzerk game if you decide to end this auction early (of if it doesn't sell...) I've bid on a couple of your 5200 games also (no_anchovies)... Thanks, Steve
  10. Orri's - Clearing out stuff sale!! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! First come, first served, period. Please don't ask for pictures - they are exactly as I describe them. Trust my references on the trading forum thread http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic....ight=orrimarrko If I have to take pictures, I may as well put them on eBay. If I say they're sealed, they're just that - Brand New. They may have price tags on the outside, but that shouldn't be an issue. If I say they're CIB, then trust me - they are basically brand new games without the shrinkwrap. I stand by my items and my reputation for ONLY having MINT items in my collection. Again, read the testimonial references in the traders thread. Pm with questions, but most of this is pretty straight forward. Paypal addy: [email protected] PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT HAVE ANY PLAYER'S CHOICE GAMES, SO DON'T WORRY - YOU WILL GET THE ORIGINAL RELEASE FOR EACH TITLE. I will entertain offers for the entire lot, and will sell it all for $950 (free shipping) if there are any resellers or collectors interested. When you see all the items, it's really a great price. With the exception of a couple of items, I would like to sell the rest in LOTS of 10, so I don't get stuck with any "less desirable" games. Shipping is not included, but I don't overcharge. 11. Most of mine also had the iron-on instructions sticker on the back - a few were there but flaked off at touch and left behind a brownish patch of dried glue - and that coupled with comparing them to other Activision patches is a pretty good indicator that they are the real deal (and eyes more discriminating than mine believe so, too). I doubt seriously that anyone would take the time to pirate, what, several hundred Spider Fighter patches instead of Toy Bizarre, Private Eye, or some of the rarer ones. The mix of patches he was offering was pretty random and looked more or less like a warehouse find. His auctions seem to have dribbled to a close, so he is either really about out (if not completely) or spacing out what he has left after flooding the market for a couple of months. It certainly was a good boost to patch collecting. Enjoy! What's "Toy Bizzare"?
  12. I got my 8 patches yesterday, and they're legit from the standpoint that they're actual patches. However, I have NO idea on how to tell whether they're original Activision patches or not. I'm sure hoping they are, though...
  13. I have an extra new Laser Blast patch that I would like to trade. If anyone has an extra of another patch that I don't have, I'd be glad to trade you for it! Here's a list of the patches that I have, so anything else is FAIR GAME: Megamania patch Spider Fighter patch Laser Blast patch Dragster patch 1,000,000! patch Starmaster "Leader" patch Starmaster "Wing Commander" patch Seriously, other than these, I don't care what patch it is. If you want to trade, please let me know. Thanks, Steve

    ..

Okay, I'll bite... Anyone care to explain this "game" - what's the deal here? (Noob question, I know.) Thanks, Steve
  15. Far from it, Rick maybe. I knew Rick would be on the short list, but come on - your collection HAS to be right up there for US/NTSC releases.
  16. Can't agree with that statement. Even at it's peak, that item didn't go for that much.
  17. Of course .... Is there anything you don't have. Music Machine box... Seriously though, he has to have one of the most complete collections in the US. Something to strive for, I guess.
  18. Thanks all - exactly what I wanted to hear. Shrinkwrap's outta here. I'll get some of those bags from AA. Thanks again! Orri-
  19. You have to use leagal size paper so gloss is out for self printing. You could go to kinkos and have them print on gloss for you. For myself i bought some high quality (high brightness number) leagal paper and inkjet photoprinter and they turned out fine. James I have a ton of glossy legal-size paper for the high-end color laser I use to print manuals and labels for games we sell. How much does Kinkos charge for prints? ..Al I'm not sure, but I know where you're going with this Al. If it's feasable, and you're willing to do it - let me know. I'm in. Thanks, Steve
  20. I'm asking this in regards to what's best for the long term condition of the game boxes. Do you think that it is better to release the tension caused by the shrinkwrap, or leave it sealed? Obviously, there are several factors to consider: value box condition etc... Just looking to see what other people do, as well as a general conscensus. Will leaving boxes sealed/shrinkwrapped cause problems to the structural integrity of the box over time? Thanks, Steve
