I am curious if other people are slightly irked/annoyed about stuff that goes on in video games. My favorite example is from Contra for NES. On the label art there are two tough looking dudes with bigass guns. Your sprite in game is pretty badass looking too. He looks like he can handle himself. BUT NO. He didn't count on ENEMY SOLDIERS OUT FOR A JOG. The first bad guy you see is just a dude, and he is jogging. He clearly isnt brandishing a weapon that I can see. If you just stand there, he should just run right past you, no harm, no foul. But what happens??? Your character does a backflip and dies while a dramatic sound effect plays. Try it, just concentrate on the "interaction" between you and the bad guy, and try not to laugh. Seriously, like the first 3 seconds of the game lets you experience this phenomenon. And this is not the only game guilty of this weirdness. It just bugs me. Anyone else care to share something like this that bugs the hell out of you?

I get really upset when games get spoiled for me. Jeremy Parish at 1up.com spoiled a detail of Final Fantasy 9's ending on a podcast and I almost blew my freakin top!

The last SNES I sold, I put up for $50 with pilotwings and some crappy NBA game and it sold less than 15 minutes after it appeared on craigslist. It's so weird.

I have had a Super Nintendo and a PS2 (original model) on craigslist for 2 weeks now with lowering prices, and only 2 texts that didnt follow up. I started them at $35 apiece but now I have them up for $15 apiece and STILL no bites....what is going on here!?
