After playing with syscheck I finally got ant.exe loaded and slot 0 did seem to have a valid os. i had to set mode to 64k because that was offered by syscheck.
Got it to flash again

I got it to boot with syscheck v2.2 with flash jumper on i can boot only flasher ANT.EXE complains about cartridge.
When jumper is off it boots fine without syscheck v2.2 only flash complains about write protected flash.
@drac030 can you help me to flash atleast 1 firmware in my antonia ?

Hi Jeff with original cpu and mmu my system works...My blew up like this too. I set the rom to OS-B and 1 Meg and on write it died and my 800XL is now a brick, even if I put the old ROM and MMU in.
Sorry, not help, just commiserating.

I used ant1.5 before I had 1.4 that did flash ok.
When turn it on now I get a brown screen nothing happens the same when I use the rom jumper

Anyone who can help me?

Just solved the issue my GTIA went bad, only select and option not working after replacing it all keys work.
So no resistor mod needed

Yes will check tomorow I got a good starting point nowCheck for other sources of the problem (the schematics are you fiends), it might be a non working pin in the keyword connector, a dirty mylar edge, etc.
Now, if a new double layer Mylar is needed, I got mine from the brewing academy and it has been working great. [mention=16779]MacRorie[/mention] is the contact you need here in Atariage forums.

Do you have more info about that redistor mod?It could be a broken trace, but I remember reading about issues with the console keys on the XEs. IIRC, the console keys were especially susceptible to failing due to increased resistance on old keyboard membranes. The concole keys go to the GTIA chip instead of the Pokey (via the 4051s) like the rest of the keyboard. One fix was to gang additional resistors in parallel with the resistors on these lines on the PCB in order to lower the overall resistance of these buttons.

Okay thanx for the hint of the gtia, indid socket it because of a sophia install but did not test the keyboard after. I also installed antonia.
I will revert to the normal GTIA and cpu + mmu maybe I did cause an issue when old gtia was removed.

I am troubleshooting an 130XE
I have a question the MPD pin14 of mmu to which chip pin should it be connected?
It also goes to R15 but I cannot find that resistor on the board.
Solved.
So far pin 15 has no connection so that needs to be fixed.
Only pin 15 needs a new connection. Pin 14 need to be connected to the near via.

I got the BBS Pro! package 472 and my friend has 471 it was not version 4.0 but 5.0 later when program was not availble anymore, it has evolved in tcpip express

We working a an idea and need a wider resolution then 320*240, we like to get 640*240. Where can we change this? Do we need to mod the Jaguar init code or can it be done inside Raptor Basic?
