Are there some beta versions for download? Looks good but is it for real?
-
This sounds cool. Maybe when some interested people join together we can develop our first game open-source. Everybody who is interested can learn about it.

Hmm could someone help me out and tell what nr's to look for?

Any good tool is TURBO ASSEMBLER on pc. It allows you to code very easy some programs. It can do so much almost as simple as basic but it's still assembler but it has many macro's for I/O, music play routines for several composers and support for graphic formats.

Hi, I looked at cybermorph and found out that there are 2 versions of the cart. 1 has an animated Cybermorph logo the other don't. It has something to do with the year it's produced I think. I have seen 1993 and 1994 version Are there more games around which have some differences?

Who was writing this game never saw or read about it.... Sorry didn't read all messages... but would like to see bomberman for real on the JAG! Are there some programmers around willing to write one?
-
Hi, I was thinking which game would be cool to see on the JAG: 1) Bomberman (with teamcap up to 8 players or networked) 2) Frogger (with teamcap up to 8 players or networked) 3) PAC-MAN 4) Centipede 5) Tetris / 3D Tetris 6) Operation Blood / Commando 7) Raiden II (CD version with lot's of levels) Mario Bros 9) Xenophobe 10) Reversi And for applications I would like to see an BASIC for the JAG. What would you like to see?

Hi, I wonder if it's possible for the 8-bit Atari to play YM files? Can I convert them? TXG/MNX

Yes it's a chip made in a PLGA and emulates with hardware a 6502. I think it's just a little more advanced version of the 65c816. I am building an upgrade which uses the 65c816 and that's enough for me. Would you program special software that makes use of this 32-bit? TXG/MNX

Diamond GOS cartridge is great there is even a nice development set for it. But because of the design it takes up to much low memory and doesn't have an option like SpartaDOS X to move parts to expanded memory. BOSS X is nice, looks good and very advanced only written in Turbo-Basic.... ATOS looks good but came to late just like Diamond GOS. I think a new OS must work like DIAMOND GOS and must be disk-based. But have the same options like the cartridge and make use of all memory available. It must NOT use memory under the OS and work with most programs like turbo-basic. I wonder why there was never a GEOS port for the Atari 8-bit, this has become a good OS for APPLE and C64... TXG/MNX

Hmm cool! Find it, and put it on the internet for download. Can't wait to play another unreleased game.... TXG/MNX

Some Interesting Auctions & Dealing with Possum-Glory
TXG/MNX replied to screamin1's topic in Auction Central
Hi, Done some deals from ebay with him, although he was not replying fast he did everything ok. I got the package as promised. A week ago I did win another package. I will let you know how it ends up. I already got an e-mail and payed him. I normally choose surface/ground shipping from the US/CAN and sometimes it takes up-to 4-6 weeks sometimes even longer but it's cheaper so I will be patient... TXG/MNX -
I just bought mine catbox for about $100 euro. This was a good price and in excelent condition. This price is to high... the maximum I would pay would be $100-$125 TXG/MNX

Hi, Is there a coder on the 8-bit Atari that could look into the code of LUNIX to help... There is already a part ported to the 8-bit Atari but there still needs somethings to be done... LUNIX is cool and a working port should be great it's the key to connect to the internet! TXG/MNX http://sourceforge.net/projects/lng

When you are gonna upgrade the memory I suggest to use an internal upgrade instead of the 1064. This has to be plugged on the back of the computer but with childeren moving sometimes the machine around it can get broken. A internal one would be good. Secondly I have still my 600XL the XL series almost never brake down. It's very good for childeren use... TXG/MNX
