It's pretty good. But I like other games on cd better. It's a fighting game only with dino's. But can anyone tell me about the version nr.'s in this game. I have to start mine to see what version but it was something like 1.0x are there really different versions around? And what are the differences... TXG/MNX

What kind of cartridge are you making? A card with extra memory for the JAG? I/O card for the JAG? Let us know...

The 600XL was my first machine and it's great. You can easy update it to 64Kb internaly. Here in Europe the price will be around 10-15 euro about $10-$15 but when it's in good condition $23 is not really that bad. Did it came with other hardware?

Yes I also have seen last year and this year several sealed copies of aircars. I am a collector but I have seen this game and it's really not worth $140 although there are not much of these carts around. I have Battlesphere GOLD and I like to buy another in the future when I can it's much nicer then AIRCARS. TXG/MNX

Hi, Looks good, keep up the good work... TXG/MNX

Hi, When you can use Pure C maybe Pure Pascal on the Jag can also be used as development tool. This would be cool because I like this language more... Pure Pascal in Turbo Pascal 7.x compatible... TXG/MNX

I thought the same connector as a PCI slot was used... Maybe this is already available in your cad program

In general I must say most Polish releases from 199x have great musix mostly done with the CMC music composer.

Yes that would really be cool I think... Even the Atari 8-bit has software to read ISO9660 cd's written in less then 5kB so the JAG with 2Mb would not have a problem with it...

It's pretty easy to take one of the demos and just write a little game around it. Look at the Sinister Asteroids game. They did that in just a few days to learn to program the Jag. Hmm that's a very good tip... thank you...
-
Programming the ISO9660 would not be that hard but you need to directly talk to the hardware of the CD-rom player I think or is there another way and bypass the cd-rom rom completly...
-
Hmm interesting are there some more outthere?
-
Yes looks impressive, can I still get such a system somewhere?

I just ordered the cd from starcat so I will take a look at it. I begin to like the JAG more and more and more... I really would love to code something simple for the Jag in the future...

I don't know how the 7800 has done, I only know that it was not very populair in the Netherlands. The 2600 and 2600jr where sold for a very long time overhere... I think the same for Germany.

I think that jpeg viewer could be more useful. The Kodak PhotoCD is not so used at these days. I have read somewhere that it is possible to program Jaguar with gcc. Did somebody try this? Okay JPEG viewing would also be nice, to view all my photo's of Atari party's on my JAG on the big tv... GCC was possible but it really [email protected]#*^@ I heard, but read something about PURE C but I don't have info about that...

Hmm seems to be a nice option please try to find it and scan it. My e-mail is [email protected]

Reliable places to buy 5200/7800 systems?
TXG/MNX replied to Brad2600's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I use also a tool called auctiontamer I add every interesting auction to this list but that doesn't mean I bid on it. This program will create a database of items I sell, win, or are closed (loose)... The when I really want to have a program I look in the closed part and look for the game I want to have. For example. I like to have the game Mean 18. I will look for it in this program. When I see that this game is sold 8x for about $3.00 and 2x for a much higher price I know that I can get it for $3.00 on ebay. I also compare the price with post orders sometimes when I think they have it also for the same price. When they do I buy it there too. But I have saved a lot of money in the years by looking on ebay. But sometimes you also have to patient because you loose a bid. Next time better... My average savings on ebay items with a shop is about 60%... -

I should also say EBAY. I buy almost all my items on EBAY and I never had bad experiences... -
