  4. [quote="IceCold Do you want a Sega Genesis? It wasn't released in Europe I think(but of course megadrives were) Nope I only collect and use Atari computers, that already fills my house very quickly.... But I think the Genesis was sold here but is still very rare in the Netherlands. I have seen some but it was not that populair here just like the Jaguar (gr....) But thanx for the offer.. I will e-mail a friend of mine to see if he is interested... TXG/MNX
  5. Hi, Okay I download it tomorow and check this out... TXG/MNX
  6. Okay I already send you an e-mail ... Nice to see a lot of people here... on this board...
  7. Maybe you should consider to make this an open-source project and maybe some good programmers that are here in this group can help to make this thing really work. Would be great to add an IDE interface so that people can attach harddisk, cd-rom or DVD. Secondly ethernet support. There are small embedded modules that are easy to connect. Also look at some idea from this German guy: http://www.asamnet.de/~hilgarte/romu.php http://www.asamnet.de/~hilgarte/jaglink.php http://www.asamnet.de/~hilgarte/joyadapt.php TXG/MNX
  8. The JAG can run TOS very well because it used the 68K processor the only thing is the different video hardware I think. Maybe the Jag can run MINT too... TXG/MNX
  9. Perhaps i should point you to one of my webpages http://home.t-online.de/home/Matthias.Domi...in/tosonjag.htm "The Jaguar Engine" was shown on the first Euro-JagFest. About the speed: The TOS/GEM isn't much faster than on the 8MHz STs because the M68k has to share the bus with the other processors. Matthias Hmm I always liked this project from the first time I saw it. I looked at it and got the technical stuff. > Matthias are you gona develop this hardware any further or do you make pcb's I really love to have 1. Maybe strange but would it be possible to run CAB 2.x or Draconis on this TOS? TXG/MNX
  10. Yes I am interested. Could you e-mail them to me? TXG/MNX
  11. >5200's weren't sold in Europe were they? Nope but I already bought one 1 canada last month it still has to arrive it was send by ground/surface mail because the shipping was already $41.00 I don't know if it's a 2 or 4 ports version. Let me know what you have... TXG/MNX
  12. Hmm was this only in the US 'FREE LISTING DAY'??? I didn't read anything like that.
  13. O I forgot I had more then 2 million points...
  14. Hi, I found a bug in the defender cartridge after level 99 it doesn't increase the level anymore. The play continues but I had to stop because my hands hurt after a few hours handeling the joystick and fire-button... TXG/MNX
  15. Nice graphics especialy the small picture. What do you have to do in the game? TXG/MNX
  16. Okay thx. I will contact him... TXG/MNX
  17. Hi, Anyone ever connected a 16550 chip to the 8-bit Atari. I have read that some people in the c64 scene have used this chip and claim to have speeds up-to 115.200 on a normal c64 computer. This would be great. The max. speed now on the 8-bit atari is 19.200.... TXG/MNX

    FONT packer

Hi, Is there a font packer for the 8-bit atari? I have seen several demo's and how can you use the fonts in your assembler. Does the packer really packs the data or just generate a font for every 128 bytes? TXG/MNX
  19. Are there timers you can use in the jaguar. Because when you want to read a IBM keyboard thru the joystick port you need a clock I think... Could you send me info on how to program the ports on the Jaguar. TXG/MNX
  20. Thanx for the info. I think I gonna order a card to play around. Making the cable isn't that hard. But I never liked 'emulators' I always want to run code on the real machine because then I really know it runs. I have programmed on emulators in the past for the 8-bit but sometimes the program only ran on an emulator! That's no FUN!... TXG/MNX
  21. Nice pictures. Is it also possible to create a scrolling background with so much color? Would be nice to see in new games.. How many sprites and colors are used? And which gr. mode gr.15? TXG/MNX
  22. Where can I get a BLL cartridge or FLASH/RAM card for developing games on the LYNX.... TXG/MNX
  23. Yeah welcom emkay to this board... Hmm I really would love to see a fully working version of the vector game, but I haven't found a Duke N. level editor that was easy to use otherwise I already began making levels... But when you really want to program something, you could look in to the LUNIX port for Atari. It's still not fully working. LUNIX is a small multi-threading/tasking OS that works on the APPLE II/C64 and is open-source. The C64 supports tcp/ip, slip, ppp and ftp on 64Kb. It would be great when you get it to work. A lot of work already have been done for Atari. Look at http://sourceforge.net/projects/lng you can download version 0.20 here.... TXG/MNX
  24. Hi, Would it be possible to connect a pc keyboard to joystick port 2? When it can be done, maybe a debugger and little assembler can be added to this program so that sources can be run/changed when running on the Jaguar... A pc keyboard used a serial protocol, only I don't know if the joystick ports on the jaguar can be programmed for input/output. TXG/MNX
  25. Hi, A 1200XL is nice is it looking good and in good condition please contact me (private) i am interested.... Shaggy: Not interested in 4 switch 2600 do have them a lot here but thanx anyway... To give some extra info about me what should help. I live in Europe and am I specially looking for hardware that was never sold here. Like the 1200XL.
