  1. Okay, I'm going to make a presentation about the 1983/4 video game crash in my economy class, and my teacher allowed me to bring my Atari 2600 at school with E.T. (you probably know why) and another game, such as one of the first, successful games with a text label or a game that was a "victim" of the crash. But because I don't want to risk my precious Mangia' cart , I want you to recommend me a text label game that everybody could enjoy (my classmates and I are age 15-18) Thanks in advance --Some stupid teenager who wants to get a good grade
  2. EDIT: I got the system and the games. The games work perfect, but the 6er doesn't have any sound The picture is perfect, though... Oh never mind. I know somebody who can repair old electronics
  3. My games arrived. And I just found out that I had to blame UPS, and not the Swiss Post. Oh, and Im playing some kinect games with my little cousin... Still prefer my Atari 2600!

  4. My games arrived. And I just found out that I had to blame UPS, and not the Swiss Post. Oh, and Im playing some kinect games with my little cousin... Still prefer my Atari 2600!

  5. EDIT: My parents told me that a big package from UPS arrived! So excited!!! But there is one small problem... Right now Im in Czech Republic and Ill have to wait another 6 days until I go back home... Ill show you guys my loot next friday
  6. I never was one of tramiel's huge fans, but I have to say that he managed to keep Atari alive on the console market... Sure there were the SwordQuest trophies that were probably kept by Tramiel, but he still was a great man because of what he did for the computer industry, like the C=64 and the Atari computers... Yes, I like him more on the C= side, but he still was a great man... R.I.P
  7. I really want to have some Telesys carts, but I don´t know who distributed them in Europe and I don´t know which games got released in Europe. Can you help me???
  8. Well im not one of them.im 15 and i LOVE retro games and systems like the Nes,Genesis,2600,Playstation,Master system,Gameboy,Gamegear,Lynx etc. Actually i like retro system and games more than modern games.I had fond memories of my Nes.My cousin gave me her Nes with 15 games and i loved it.remember playing Super Mario bros.3 with my sister on the Mario bros. arcade stage.remembers having to blow in the Nes carts too, great memories Me too. I collect games since I found out about the NES (I was 8 ) and today Im 15, and I collected all those retro games for 7 years! It's like I'm the only one in my class that plays Pifall (hence my name) instead of Call of doody:Modern Warfart 3. And if I have kids, instead of letting them fall into their generation of Xboxes 1080s, Wii ys and PlayStation 5s (that is probably going to be the generation of consoles in 2025), I would teach them about the magic of Atari and Vectrex so those consoles will never die (I already "saved" my best friend from this stupid generation of gamers). I think the world needs more people like you and me, that go back in the past of video game history so when the original owners of 2600s die off, those people would make those great consoles stay in people's memories!!! Long live Atari and all retro games
  9. Maybe they will... Homebrewers may eventually run out of spare ET\PacMan carts that they use to put their games on cart and those will become very rare carts
  10. You would be surprised... you may find a hidden tresure in a small flea market. I found Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for 4$ in a small flea market
  11. Whenever there is a flea market near when I live, I go there and I try to find Atari or NES stuff. Unfortunately, finding video games in the wild in Switzerland is quite difficult. I never saw an Atari Game in the wild in Switzerland.(Sometimes there are 2600 games on the Swiss equivalent of Craigslist). Best thing I found in the wild is a NTSC Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for the SNES (for 4$ ) Nice finds tho. I really wish you could find 2600 games like that in Switzerland
  12. I wil try it tonight, but it was at a Goodwill with a bunch of commons, Infiltrate, Space Cavern, Fire Fighter, Pitfall II, and a 4-switch woody console, so it looks like someone was a local collector. I bought the whole lot for $28. If it is PAL, then it will screen roll or what? I wonder what would happen if a little kid bought the thing. Maybe something like "Mommy!!! What is Wolverine doing to Jean Grey" Nice find, though... I don't have any R9's, but I have a R10 ! (Mangia')
  13. I'll get mine soon. All I know is that it is a PAL Atari Light Sixer (probably a Hong Kong Model)
  14. Still waiting for my Light Sixer and my 31 games >:( The Swiss post is becoming more and more crappy D:<

  15. EDIT: The sixer has been sent and I should get it in 2-5 days I'm sooo excited to get it because my 4-switch woody went R.I.P.
  16. I often play this game with my best friend. As he comes over, we always play 30 terms of 60 seconds of Utopia! Great game
  17. The seller just sent the games! The L6er is still in GB though
  18. I won another auction This time I got a Light 6er with a handful of games
  19. NO! The L6er was too heavy so the seller had to refund D:

  20. Finally!!! I bought a Light 6er off Ebay! And I also got a huge lot of games for it (31 games, but it was not the same seller) :D

  21. OMG! I just figured out there are several R4s in the box And even 1 R5 But none of these are rarer than my Mangia' cart
