  1. Yes, thank you all!!! Was this made in Chile or in Latin America?
  2. so, with VBXE (and maybe other mods), one could develop a game identical (or better) than NES? (assuming one has the time) I'm not familiar with the NES hardware (other than what I have read here and there) but their games were much better yet they were using a 6502 but I'm sure there were other chips there.
  3. I hope I don't get banned for asking so many questions. I was wondering if with some of the mods we have now, would this qualify to have a game at the quality (of course, someone would need to code it) at the level of Nintendo NES? Programming/Hardware wise.
  4. Hi, When I was a kid, I remember only have one cartridge for my Atari XE. They were too expensive, so everything was Tape and Disk (back in Chile). Now, it was a very cool application. It was an educational application. I don't know if there were any subjects in there, I really don't remember but what I remember is that I could create quiz banks to answer questions. At the time, I found the interface to be extremely nice. Ok, I know I'm not giving you much but I wonder if you may recall anything. I don't remember the name or much else.
  5. I don't have a lot space in my house nor my wife will let me use that much space but since I moved to Colorado, the basement gives me space to store. It is not finished, so it is not a place to hangout but one day...
  6. I think they are both useful. While I use ssh a lot more, there are services where telnet comes handy. Even a simple non-secure server (For testing purposes), telnet is great as you communicate with your listening socket.
  7. Hello, I asked this privately but I should had asked here in the forum. My question was if SSH would be possible (I'm not saying it should be done but it is possible) with Atari + FujiNet. I think I have the answer now but for the benefit of everyone, I would let the person who knows about this answer. Thanks. PS: Sorry that I sent something private that should had been public.
  8. It is master piece! The port next to the s-video, what is it ? Do you know when they will available ready built? Thanks,
  9. 2019 was a busy year (so is this one). Man I too late to get this or may e I have to wait for v3 ?
  10. I know this is an old post — sorry to bump it. I tried PM you but system does not let me. I’m not sure why. It says you can’t receive messages. Is there anyone selling this ?
  11. Thanks — It sounds like a good option. I don’t have the side 2, and I expect to use them in xle. Im getting in the XEL CF3 dual. 1088XEL-CF3-R DUAL FOR RAPIDUS INSTALLS I wonder if the best way to remove them is to turn of the device or is there a way to unmount the device ? I will figure it out when I get it.
  12. Hi, now that I will be getting an XEL at some point, I'm thinking of some accessories. For the CF Cards, I was recommended to go below 30mb/s -- I found 15 mb/s --- I don't know if it matters that much. I found 2gb and 4gb. Linked below. https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-15mb-Compactflash-Card/dp/B00EKKM6MG/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=CF+cards+sandisk&qid=1604529328&sr=8-6 https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-Compact-Memory-SDCFH-004G-A11/dp/B0012W7GZ2/ref=pd_bxgy_3/146-5748790-5274167?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0012W7GZ2&pd_rd_r=3385285a-31c5-4d58-805b-f90fdb7ff618&pd_rd_w=Vn567&pd_rd_wg=ok958&pf_rd_p=ce6c479b-ef53-49a6-845b-bbbf35c28dd3&pf_rd_r=ACMABFYFK63BDGDQTPN1&psc=1&refRID=ACMABFYFK63BDGDQTPN1 Are these the right CF cards? can you provide some recommendations? Is there any other accessories? I know have to get a keyboard and mouse. I already have a Fujinet and other stuff as I have Atari stuff. I'm thinking to get a set of speakers. Thanks.
  13. Hello, My coding experience (except for Basic and Turbo Basic, which I don't remember much for the Atari) is really not in the 8-bit platform. I'm going to be honest, I don't know if I will have time to do something or pick up the time to write, as I'm too busy but maybe one day. I'm looking at the options. I searched in the forums and for what I have learned, there are ATASM, XASM, MADS, MAC65, and CC65 (which includes C), among others. My understanding is MADS is prefer by some except for the lack of English documentation (but this may not be true anymore). I know there are sites about each of them but I wanted from your perspective what assembler is ideal now, why are you using the one you are using, etc. Any information you can provide from your perceptive would be great. Now, I don't want to confused this post, but if you happen to use C (or both), I would also like to know your experience. For example, if you know C (which I do) but you are using Assembly, is there a reason? and vice-versa (which this way around may be easier to see why). Thanks,
  14. Well, not sure what I can do for work there. But gaming and for historical reasons.
  15. I would like to thanks everyone for helping me out with all the questions. After this, the smallest atari and maybe an xld may be next but it will be a while.
  16. She doesn’t know — So, If I’m not around, either 1. I’m using my XEL or 2. I’m in trouble lol
  17. OK, it is official. I'm getting an 1088 XEL from https://www.homebrewery.com/ I can't wait to try it!
