  1. Man this year has started out with a bang, and this weekend was the topper. I got several sets of pictures from over the last 7 weeks, some awesome stuff and lots of it. Arkansas has been good to me over the past year but the past month and a half has been jackpots everywhere I look. Most of this stuff is from flea markets, thrift stores, game stores, garage sales, with very little from ebay. The first few set of pics were bought several different places for allmost nothing, and the last sets of pics are of this weekends haul, from 1 place and consisted of 20 systems and over 100 games and a huge box of joysticks, power supplies, guns, cables and so on, all systems were $5 each and all games were $1 each. But my favorite is the second set of pics of the Completely mint boxed heavy sixer, with mint cardboard box insert and mint original 77 joysticks that click with the hex shape indention on top (no hex disks) it is the most beautifully clean MCIB #s matching on box, insert and system that I have personally ever seen, Got it for $19 on ebay and just got it a few days ago, How did you guys miss that?? Anyway sorry so long, just wanted to share with all of you. Thanks for looking!! Remember there are 4 sets of pics!! (Warning, 17 pictures, please be patient if you have a slow conection)
  2. Yes UKW, I did mean the PS coming from the board to the plug hole in the back of the laptop, not the charger wall plug thingy. I am looking at several offers from several AA members on laptops, so thanks to all who replyed, is there anyone else that has a laptop for sale??
  3. My old laptop that I use everyday died on me, I want to buy a good used laptop, I just want something inexpensive to use for email, searching the web, checking out Atari Age, you know nothing real fancy, I want to spend between $150 and $400, and would like something between 133mhz and 600mhz, 56k modem, 32 to 128 megs of ram, 2 to 20 gig hd, 12 to 14 inch screen, cd drive or dvd or would like to have a cdrw but not at all important, just want a good nice screen working older reliable laptop, not real picky, anyone have anything at all?? P.S. if anyone would be willing to look at my old laptop that can fix it please let me know, it is a old IBM thinkpad 365x, 10 inch screen, P133mhz, 32 meg, 6 gig hd. It was working flawlessly until one day nothing at all, took it to a computer repair shop, they said the hd,mother board, screen were all fine but that the power supply in the back of the computer was fried, and he couldnt get one or fix it. Anyone think it can be fixed, want to take a crack at it??
  4. ( I posted this in off topic, but wanted to post here in 2600, incase there are people who never look in off topic, I know sometimes I dont look in off topic for weeks at a time, so thats why I am posting here also, cool? ) I found and joined Atari Age 1 year ago today, after searching through 100's of web sites looking for a family of Atari fans and collectors, I stumbled upon this site. After joining AA and not having a clue about Atari, gaming or collecting anything at all, having only a playstation 1 with a couple of games that havent been played but a handfull of times, I bought my first Atari 2600 and couple of games allmost 1 year ago. That started my Atari and now other game systems and games collecting frenzy, which now consist of 60 different game systems and over 2000 games for them all. I said all that to say this; thank you Albert, Alex and all Atari Age members for being a great, helpful, "funny", informative and knowledgable bunch of folks! I have really enjoyed being apart of AA this year and look forward to many more years of gaming, collecting and Holy Grail hunting with all of you. "Man I hope this isnt as cheezy as it sounds to me, cause It is meant to be sincere!!"

Awesome community of people, thanks to everyone here at Atari age, you guys rock!!!
  8. I got one a while back at a electronics sale for $49 and you can get them many places, they do have 76,000 games on them but not different games. Thier are different versions of the same games different colors different starting levels and hacks and so on, their are alot of games and I have had a ball playing with it specially easy to take on a trip, and has some good fun games but not worth more than $25-$50 at the very very most.
  9. Well Im a little upset, the high bid was $202.50 with 50 seconds to go so I placed my bid up to $303.99 hopeing that if he had bid higher it was only to $300.00, and I was right I became the high bidder with 30 seconds left, and I was celebrating and hit refresh once more to make sure no one was going to snipe me and with 20 seconds left I was still the high bidder, started getting real happy and man I was proud to own such cool games!!! Then --- devestation---panic---and then the celebration stoped and so did my heart as I hit refresh one last time and when the screen loaded there were 7 seconds left and I was out bid, I frantically tryed placing one last bid up to $400 with no success I had lost, and I had allready had a truck on hold and was allready to leave tommorrow with my dad to go pick them up. well Im depressed now and need to go cry and break something I will talk to everyone later if I can heal this great wound in my heart.!

  11. Yea see that is my main question for you guys, if lets say none of them are even fixable at all would you buy them for just parting out, and ya know keeping some side art panels and marques and ya know a little game room wall hangings and whatever. Are these old machines really even decent for parting out?? Man I just dont know???
  12. What do you think about these games, are any of them real good to have if they can be fixed, what are they really worth in this condition, I live only 2 hours from him so could easily pick them up and I have storage room for them. I know 3 different guys that work at King coin, a-1 amusement and someone else that all fix and repair arcades so I might be able to get a break there, would you do it, is it worth it for these games, please help me decide!! YES OR NO http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...gory=13716&rd=1
