  1. Yea CC you are very right, about 1/3 of what you see in those pics are trade bait or going to be for sale. It would take more than a week but i need to redo everything for sure. If i took out all the trade bait and stuff i will be selling i could display alot more stuff in detail, which i will get to at some point, just havent had time lately, but it would look better, not so much like a game store. It will take some work but i look forward to makeing it look and display better. Thanks for the good advise.
  2. I played cosmic arc alot, and loved it! I like alot of imagic games but would have to say activision!

    Arcade Pix

Dude i LOVE that, freakin awesome arcade, i got a few arcade games too, but man that is stunning!!! Really cool.
  4. Thanks again guys. AL--the gameroom is 30x18 just the left side of the garage, the 2 garage stalls are used for my mom and dads cars and all my dads tool and toys. The idea first was for a stand alone 14x20 storage building i was going to buy and put at my parents place but dad offered to build a garage for him with a gameroom for me if i wanted, well duh, what a cool dad huh, so i helped with some money and labor and i have a great size, secure, air conditioned, lighted, game room, my parents ROCK!!! Only thing is, we have had a major flodding issue with the garage and, the guys who dug the ground and layed the foundation screwed up and went to deep and its been a major problem!!
  5. ATARIPITBULL I assure you its not the greatest, its just BIG!! But thanks for the compliment!! And also your collection is freakin AWESOME, i would kill to have some of your collection stuff!! As well as many guys (and girls) herat AA, you know who ya are!!
  6. Fist of all- Liqiuid- you are right for sure, i probably do need professional help, seriously! Next- thanks for all the nice comments guys. One word of advice, do NOT be jealous, you do NOT want this much stuff!!! I have had to move this stuff from 4 different houses, then 4 different storage buildings and 2 different states over the last 4 years, more work then i care to have done. I allmost started a small game store 2 years ago, i wish i had now, but just couldnt do it financially at the time. Dont get me wrong i love the stuff but it has just gotten a little out of control as you can see. It started out just wanting play some old atari games then collecting for atari, then wanting to play some other systems, then collecting for everything, then wanting to open a store (so i bought everything i could find), Then i found a full size arcade and got bit by a coin op bug (thats a whole other illness), and now i have a video game store, and an Arcade in my garage!! Well, i would say i have alot of "nice" stuff more that alot of "rare stuff". But i have some good hard to find stuff, but there are tons of people on this site who have awesome collections of beiutiful, mint, new, rare stuff that puts everything i have to shame, i just got ALOT of doubles of stuff, and tripples ext... I would rather have a smaller more condensed, rare, mint collection, than all the stuff i have but i cant complain at all. Just off the top of my head- Brand new bally astrocade in shipping box- (nice & minty) Brand New fairchild channel f's- Brand new sealed 7800- Mint atari boxed systems, "heavys, sixes, fours, vaders, jrs"- Mint Boxed promotional & factory reconditiond 2600's- Mint Boxed promotional "5200" system- (dont know anyone else who has one) Alot of new boxed pong variations- A whole case of 5 "service exchange only" 2600's (i like these alot for some reason) Alot of new & mint accessories- New boxed Atari game center- Some fairly rair games like-Malagai, Vulture attack, Boing, Waterworld, C Climber, Tank command ext... not boxed though
  7. I believe ya, i dont know this guy really really well so i am sure there could be some things that arent correct in his story, im just going off what he said when i was there buying some stuff from him and takeing pics, i could have easily told the story a bit wrong. But anyway i just think the things are very cool and thought others might want to see them, ive never seen them before. I bet you guys got other things at TRU that were cool like these huh??
  8. He said he hashed it over with someone he knew from sega (i think) over the phone, for months, then he finally got them to agree to let him have them if he came to pick them up, so he drove somewhere in the USA to pick them up. He said they couldnt sell them to him, they were going to destroy them from what he told me, but he convinced them to give them up. Now i dont know if all that is completely accurate or if he didnt tell me the whole story. His family has been in the game business and collecting for 25 years so they have some pretty rare and cool stuff!! He said (SEGA) but they very well could have been in a toys are us store at one time!
  9. Yea a friend of mine owns a game store here in arkansas and sega gave them to him but it took forever and alot of red tape from what he told me.
  10. Oh yea!! It takes a thief aint even getting in here!!
  11. Well they might be rare--kinda, and as far as lifesize- who knows how big sonic and tails really are anyway but i imagine they might be close. Pretty cool anyway huh?? Not mine, a friend owns them.
  12. Ive been through alot with this room over the past year, it looks kinda rough right now because right after i got it just about how i liked it--IT FLOODED!!! Yes from arkansas worst rain storm, i had about 5 inches of water in my gameroom one morning!! I lost some pretty good stuff to water damage and had to pull up the carpet move all the stuff off the floor, and its never been quite the same since. Then i started a new job running a music venue, working 10-12 hours a day and havent been able to really clean it up and get it all back the way i like it, so it is kinda just there right now.
  13. Hope this is not to many pictures, got kinda camera crazy! Several of you have been asking me to post pics of the gameroom, so here it is. It is a work in progress, as im sure all of yours are as well, but these were taken last year after building a garage at my dads house that he so wonderfully let me add a 30x18 gameroom built right in with his garage, how nice of him!! (Way to much stuff huh?)
