    Would anyone be able to create a .bin file that contains music to American Bandstand: 

    I'd like to put on a cartridge and have it autoplay when inserted into the console.

      Here's my first try at getting as much as I could to fit in 4k:

       

      bandstand_boogie_2020y_06m_18d_1033t.bin

       

      I'm not completely happy with the length of all the notes and the spaces between them, but at least the data is there to adjust. Since I'm using data for both channels, there is a lot of "0,0,0" space holder data for many notes, so there is space to add other notes playing at the same time or tiny sound effects. Here's an example of the data for one note:

   1
   8,12,21
   0,0,0
   5
   2,12,21
   0,0,0
   8

    Anyone know the paper stock/weight used for Atari 2600 boxes?

      You need micrometer calipers to measure how many mils thickness it is. Probably around 10 points just a guess.

    Me too. The Freedom Tower is great, but I wish they rebuilt the WTC. My wife's uncle-in-law worked on the towers and made a small scrap book with pics of them being built. Pretty cool.

    Anyone else experiencing delays in package deliveries? UPS delivered a package to a nearby post office 3 days ago and I still haven't received it.

      Very different where I live. USPS is pretty reliable, but UPS and FedEx ...

      UPS didn't deliver here for 3 days stating that their driver couldn't find the place and I watched a FedEx drive come up to the door with stickers saying that they couldn't deliver because no one was here.?

      It varies I think.   (Many of my eBay estimates are off),...But...  On Friday, I sent my sister some coffee (local stuff) and they said, She'll have it Monday.  And on Monday she called thanking me for it.   Exactly like they (USPS) said.

      USPS and CanadaPost seem to be a couple weeks to a month behind. FedEx, UPS and EMS have been as fast as ever for me personally.

    What I would be interested in is someone helping me create a .bin file of the tune from American Bandstand that could be put into a cart. It would play that song when put into an actual console. No game, just American Bandstand, just like in the movie.

    I didn’t create this with the intention of anyone developing it. It was just for fun. Also, I’m not a game developer, so I’m sure there are many things that don’t work/could be improved upon! -B

    I knew next to nothing about how games were developed, as well as the limitations. I was hoping the idea would be compelling enough for someone to want to code. I knew I could never do it. I read that Idea Peddlers thread, and I didn't want to be another one of those "I have 1% of an idea, make the whole game for me" guys. I still have the printed box in my collection
