This is fantastic.

Bought a copy last week. I love books for children with a slight twist so this was right up my alley. A great wee book that puts a smile on my face. Sadly, my son wasn't so enchanted when I read it to him before turning his light out - though that may have something to do with him being 21!

Now, get a sing along album on the go and make me a happy kid again!
Thanks so much for buying a copy, PFL! Glad you enjoyed it. I think given my musical skills, or lack thereof, I may leave the sing along album to someone else!

There's some things the world does not need. Dragon's Lair on the 2600 is one of them.

My daughter and I visited a children's hospital in NJ today to read "Blip The Bit" to some of the kids there. The kids really liked the book, and some even recognized some of the video game characters referenced (especially the barrel-throwing ape). It was a very humbling experience for my daughter and I, but it felt good to know that my book brought some happiness (even if it was, in some cases, temporary) to the kids.
At the risk of sounding like a St. Jude's commercial -- if you have young healthy kids, give them a hug and be thankful for all of the little things we tend to take for granted.

The only problem is finding someone who makes games large enough for the console.

Come on, buy a copy!

Was just down there and it looks like 60% of the overall arcade is gone. I can't imagine they'd bring back the Flashbacks section. I agree, no big loss considering the condition of the games...

I think it's great that this idea is finally getting kicked around after 2 years. I hope someone can make something of this. Omegamatrix, your bin file looks good so far.

Philsan just told me that he received his copy that he had shipped to Switzerland. I'm officially an international author

More folks should show support for this project...Brian put a ton of time and effort into creating what should be looked at as a perfect way to introduce retro-gaming to the next generation! What an excellent product! Thank you for this awesome contribution to the hobby!!!

Oh! I should add, I bought this as a gift for my friend's daughter a week ago......he tells me she has refused to put it down since it showed up! She is 4 and absolutely loves the illustrations and keeps asking him to read it to her every night!

Thanks for passing that along. Makes me very happy to hear that!

I like this a lot.
In my opinion, it needs:
- A score or timer
- Additional bad guys or obstacles (maybe the game can be divided into sections, and each section have a boss?)
Looking good so far, though
