  1. No matter what they find, even if everything has been crushed, that stuff could be put in necklaces and bracelets and sold to thousands or maybe millions of people who want to own something from the famous landfill. The necklaces and bracelets might look similar to the images below, except they'd have bits of plastic and broken computer chips instead of clovers:

  2. Hi all,

My first children's book, Blip the Bit: And His Adventures in Retroville is now available for purchase on LuLu.com.

    The book

chronicles a day in the life of Blip, and his 3 friends, Bleep, Bloop, and Zip, as they skip through a computer-generated town filled with classic video game characters. My purpose for writing this book was to create a book that retro gaming enthusiasts could read to their young children and enjoy together.

  3. Seems when using flickering, a single missile is not so bad for drawing a hammer :-D . It's even multi-colored and fits with the overall look.

However, this is just a display kernel test. Really making this work would require quite some effort. So, this is low priority, I would only try it once all enemies are done.

    You're doing God's work.

  4. Ha. Yeah, it's a joystick game, but you really don't suck, Brian! :) I know it's a hard game, but once you get used to the controls it's pretty fun. When I have to make a really wide turn, I start turning back the other direction before I've finished getting through the gate. The left/right velocity on the car takes a bit of practice.

Got the hang of it now. Frustrating little game :) Nice job!

  5. Looking at the forum on my iPhone I can see the pics fine. Maybe imgur is blocked at work. I love the label, looks very professional. I'd like to use it for a personal copy of the game. I'll send you a PM later, I'd like a hi-res copy for printing if possible.

I have the high-res front and end labels ready whenever you want them. Let me know.

  6. Has anyone come up with a nice retro label yet?

I didn't come up with a retro label, but I had an old design I created for a game concept called "RAILZ" a while back, which was in the same vein as this game. I just updated the game's name to "Gate Racer." It's yours if you want it, AM.
