  1. There's so many great homebrews in the AtariAge store that if you ask 5 different people you're likely to get 5 different responses, but for my tastes I'd go with:

    Dungeon

    Lady Bug

    Lead

    Wolfenstein VCS: The Next Mission

    Zippy the Porcupine

    Lead is awesome.

  2. I don't know how you guys did it, but the game play is very smooth. It’s easy to make the tongue go where you want it to.

I like the animated aardvark intro and would leave it as-is. Also like the built-in pause that the Bonus provides between levels.

Like John, I made it to the 2nd hill, the 2nd time around, but I didn't lose my high score in the subsequent game.

I played the ROM on my 7800 via Harmony Encore.

I'll try to play some more this weekend. :)

How the hell did you get a score that high? I got 10,000 and was psyched. :)

  3. That's for sure! One tip: kill the BURWORS (blue monsters) early before they speed up as the monsters they spawn take on the speed of the monster that was killed.

Also, since STANDARD is meant to be like the arcade (ie. a quarter muncher), you can try NOVICE for a slower ramp up of the speed (plus less monsters to start).

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Hi Moonsweeper!

Thank you so much for your input. Yes, I plan to have a limited edition of signed games with a color manual, box and poster. We'll also be adding a complete set of the Collectible Trading Cards for the game. You can view the first card and subscribe to my mailing list at https://www.dankitchengames.com. The game will have almost 75 enemies and obstacles which will be highlighted on these Trading Cards.

The game is now called DAN KITCHEN'S GOLD RUSH!™. In my upcoming newsletter I'll be releasing images of the train cars and obstacles.

Thank's again for your kind words!

    Dan K.

    Sounds awesome!
