+1 for the homebrews. I'd add Lead and Conquest of Mars to that list. -B

Here's something I whipped up quick along those lines: Kept the same design as larger boxes, just resized things a bit. -B

Nice find! I've seen them for double the price on Ebay. I had this as a kid, and even bought the pattern book that was made for it. I put in so many hours with that game...One of these days I'll be able to convince my wife that I have to have one. -B -
Resident Evil 1. When you're walking down the hall, and those demon dogs jump through the boarded up windows.

I think we can all agree that small Brazilian boxes are great. Wait, what were we talking about again? -B

Holy crap, that was what I was planning to comp up next! I was going to call them cigarette boxes (although they wouldn't open like cig boxes). The manuals could also ne reduced in size and fold out. I'll be sure to post as soon as I have something made. Thanks! B

Thanks! I'll keep you posted. -B

Thanks! I'm looking into pricing for the box printing now. Haven't looked into the cart labels yet. Keep you posted. -B Thanks! These are sweet. Too bad they are sold out of ink jet glossy labels. Although I do have a laser printer at work...One thing I noticed is that they say they have templates available in the forums, but their forums look a little bare. I did a search and couldn't find them. Curious to see their Photoshop templates before I purchase some labels. How's the Skull Island packaging coming along? -B

Thanks, man! I prefer the all-black look, as opposed to black and gray. The sprites really pop off the black. The gray dulls the colors somewhat. -B

You probably read this thread at some point. I think the game would be fun, if it were developed, but I have no programming experience whatsoever. At least I know it'll sell one copy if it's ever made -B

Seriously? It really doesn't exist?! It's one of the reasons I was waiting for the AA store to open again, to check it out closer and maybe buy it! LOL. Sorry! Fear of the Dark was a game concept I pitched back when I first joined the forum. I couldn't code it myself, and I'm the farthest thing from a programmer, so the game never got made. But I got some nice box art out of it -B

Thanks!

Here's a revised version of the Fear of the Dark box, as well as the latest Raiders of the Lost Ark new retro style box. Thanks again to Marc O! Enjoy! -B

I was searching for alternative cases/boxes for Atari 2600 games, and I found this guy who makes custom video game box protectors: Atari 2600 Box Protectors: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 330428120573 Thought I'd pass it along. -B

Yes, it's the video of the song "Cry" of the Godley & Creme duo, the guys who split up from the 10cc band. It was a hit in 1985. I remember this song & its video scared the hell out of me when I was a kid, seeing it on TV. I was just 5 at that time ...Nowadays, I'm a big fan of their music. I just picked some random frames of this video, and recreated the face-morphing effect by hand, using PhotoShop, just as a training exercise of using the program. Yep, now I remember it. It still kinda creeps me out, and I'm 37. Avatar turned out cool, though! Thanks, B

Is that avatar from a music video? looks familiar, but I can't place it.

The Goodwill near me never has any of the cool stuff that most of you guys find. And I go there as often as I can. Just PS1s, PS2s, and Xbox games. I've been there at least 20 times, and I am yet to see any Atari or NES-related items. -B -

Marc Oberhäuser was nice enough to print up the Fear of the Dark box. Sure, the game doesn't exist, but it's nice to dream: Only thing that's missing is the AA logomark on the spine (which I forgot to include in my flattened file) Thanks again, Marc! -B
-
Thanks! Have the actual ones gotten manufactured yet? -B

This is great. I wish this is the Pac-Man I got to play at home as a 9 year old kid. If I ever get my hands on a Delorian, a Flux Capacitor, and some Plutonium, I know exactly where I'm headin'... -B
-
Awesome! How much did it cost?

Nice!
