  1. Did a Star Raiders box. Used the orange color from the original box for the sprite and headline copy. Also, I didn't have he line art for the Touch Pad and Overlay, had to pull it from a high-res box scan. -B
  2. Getting ready to leave work and whipped this one up quick. Breakout is tough because there's so little to work with. -B Thanks! That's perfect.

  4. My favorites so far are Space Invaders, Bezerk, and Haunted House. The more minimalist it is, the more I like it. This has been fun. I'm glad it's gotten such a positive response from everyone. -B
  5. That was a game idea that I pitched when I first joined the site. I have no programming skills, so it was never made. Here's the thread containing the proposed concept sketches/outline, game mechanics, and box art, manual art, cart labels, and game screenshots concepts. -B
  6. Thanks, mechnicoid! I'll definitely try and make one or more of those tonight. -B
  7. LOL. I really need to get some of these printed. Also, got your PM. Let me take a look tomorrow when I will, hopefully, have some more time! -B
  8. Here's a couple of Homebrew games, including my favorite, Lady Bug. Lady Bug: Conquest of Mars: Bee-Ball: -B
  9. Well those were fun, but I think I managed to capture the spirit of the animation. WARNING! Educational tidbit ahead! After capturing all of the side frames I laid them out in order, labeled them, put them on a matrix based on the sprites pixel size, and lined them up with the Still frame. Excuse the gaudy colors, I was in a hurry. Still Frame + 8 Frame Animation -> 8 Frame Animation -> TRHS Janet Side Animation.zip
  10. This game is fantastic. You really did a great job on this, Rev. Put me in for a copy when this goes up for sale. -B
  11. Here's a few more: Jungle Hunt: Superman: Revised Raiders of the Lost Ark: Rare Never-Released Fear of the Dark Game: Original Fear of the Dark box design: Any feedback is welcome! -B
  12. Thanks! Appreciate the kind words -B
  13. That is one sweet-looking room!
  14. I'm trying to see if the printer my company works with can get me some nice digital prints. Fingers crossed.
  15. I printed it at home on my ink jet printer using glossy photo paper. I used a template that separates the box into two parts, so i was able to print each on 8.5 x 11. The color/quality of my ink jet printer sucks. The photos actually make the box look better than it actually was -- the black printed a dark smokey grayish color, even though I set the color to 100% black. Go figure. I printed it using "Fine Quality/High Res" so, needless to say, it used a lot of ink -B
  16. Will do. Working on getting some pricing. Pretty expensive, I'm finding, to get a box printed and assembled. We'll see. I'd love to get a few of them printed so that people could buy 'em. -B
  17. Not as pretty as my Photoshop comps, but getting there. Printed the Space Invaders box using the templates I found here. Was pretty hard to score, since the ink scrapes off the glossy photo paper when you bend it. I also didn't shore up the paper with card stock, so the box is a little warped. Oh, yeah, I had to tape the sides too. OK, it's nothing like my Photoshop comp, but it's still cool to hold a 3D version of the box in my hand -B
  18. I did a search but couldn't find anything usable. Does anyone have, or know where I can go to get, a template for an Atari 2600 box that has the die line included? Any help would be appreciated. EDIT: I'm looking for something I would send to a printer, not something I would print at home. Thanks! -B
  19. These sprite animations kick ass. Nice job -B
