I really like this. Is a .bin file available?

Hello, here I am again, after 2 months, here is the test version with "cornerig" (finally!), it works fine (I think), I just need to improve it a bit.DZ-jay, your method is difficult to apply here because it would require a lot of rom (many tables) for example I would need 4 times more rom for the "move delta" table (that is, 256), since my method uses 8 x 8 virtual tiles , thank you anyway for the detailed explanation, since it inspired me to make this possible. Now it is also possible to increase the speed of the game with the right switch (in the "A" position the speed increases).Enjoy.
Awesome!

After seeing the Scramble manual, I think a Swordquest reboot with comics would be awesome.

Hey Look! It's the new upcoming Atari 64000!
Available Summer 2038!

Ahead of schedule! Awesome.

And because of people like you, we will get neither. I would almost rather have a 3200 with built in XM (assuming it's 100% compatible with all 2600/7800 games) than a standalone XM.
The 3200 has the XM hardware already included, and they'll have control over the nuances of the 7800 side of things so that it will be guaranteed to work. Should the 3200 come out first, at a comparable or perhaps even cheaper price, just send that instead to the XM backers.
Nice to every now and then have your cake and eat it too.
The cake has been baking for 8 years, though.

3200 is not the model number. It's the year it'll be available.

Coming along nicely. Any way to get your health bar back up? Perhaps a second type of powerup that fills your bar half way?
Perhaps a powerup to give you different types of weapons?

Searching for Nukey's Pac Man actually brought me to Atari Age, but DINTAR816's version has no equal on the 2600. It's simply amazing.

Glad that you are still around! Let's make some noise and see if we can get someone to code your game!
Nah. The one thing I learned during my time here is that people want to develop their own games, not someone else's

I really wanted to see your artwork on a finished game cartridge!!!
Ha! Me too. If I had an ounce of ability to develop an Atari game, it would have been finished a long time ago!

Pac Man 8K
This version of PacMan is amazing. Can't wait for this to come out on cart. I will be first in line!

I was sorry that no one ever picked that up to work on it! Brian O was a great guy and did terrific artwork and he was really dedicated to figuring out as much as a non-coder could to make the game developable. And he did terrific box art for all kinds of projects. Is he still around?
Hey man, thanks for the kind words! I was surprised when I saw this thread. I had completely forgotten about that game. My first post on AA!
I still lurk often, but work and real life has kept me from getting involved in any projects. Maybe one day

PS -- This Fear of the Dark game looks great! Nice work, MemberAtarian!

Just remember, developing games is hard work.

Get well soon!
This is excellent.
You could probably adapt your skills to use AtariAge's latest bankswitching format and make a game with graphics better than this:
To sell your games, if you don't want to do any assembling, printing, etc. and leave the release up to AtariAge's discretion, AtariAge can do all the work if you provide artwork and the final game binary. You will get $5 for every copy sold. It adds up quickly.
Or you could have AtariAge build a small run of labeled carts which cost around $20 each. Make your own instructions or booklet and sell them yourself in small runs of 10 or how ever many you can afford to put your money upfront. ?
I actually like the game's graphics as they are. I feel like I'm playing an old Game Boy game.

Nice job on this!

Yeah - I put that in for when you might get trapped by the smart bomb, but unable to get to the remaining aliens. In my current version, I have that feature disabled because I trigger it too often accidentally. If enough people like it, I'll rethink how to implement it.
Maybe have players push down on the joystick two times in a row in order to have the teleport occur. This way it avoids an accidental push down from triggering it.

I noticed that if you hit down you can teleport to the other side of the screen, but it costs you 1,000 points.

Anyone beat Panky the Panda yet? I got stuck in one part after getting the green key where you have to go down and to the left to get the yellow key but someone forgot to put a platform under the ladder at the top of a green screen preventing anyone from reaching the key.
I passed the game using Stella and save states, so I know it's doable.

Just got 11,100. Reached wave 4. Game is a lot of fun.

Just tried the bin. Liking it a lot so far. Frustrating, but good! And I like the graphics as well. Keep working on it!
