Could you confirm the improved NOAC sound and Castlevania III compatibility with either a sound byte or a video clip? I'm not convinced the RetroN3's NOAC has truly been improved, at least not until I get a sound byte from the version 2 RetroN3 and a video clip of the version 2 RetroN3 playing Castlevania III. RetroN3 version 1 : date of purchase: may 26, 2010 Location: NeoJapan Video Store (Puerto Rico) RetroN3 version 2: date of purchase: october 26, 2010 Location: NeoJapan Video Store (Puerto Rico) *The packings are different. *The chipset for the SuperNES mainboard are diferent (all of them). *In the new version the system selection circle only select 3 consoles (there's one left in the old version).

I own the 2 RetroN3 versions (version 1 with the old package and the version 2 with the economic new package). The RetroN3 with the new package is the new revision 2.

Castlevania III (NES), Super Mario RPG and Street Fighter Alpha 2(SuperNES) works fine in the new Retron3 revision 2 !!! The sound of the NOAC is better too. Retron3 revision 2 mainboard New Label (Sorry for the low quality pictures and my bad english)
