  1. Hi Rich! I would like to verify the complete subprogram list of RXB 2015E with you. This is needed to detect compatibility of a Basic Program with a certain Basic Version (RXB, XBII+, XB, TIB, SEB,...) automatically within Web99. Have there been other subprograms in older versions of RXB no longer supported in RXB 2015E? Have there been subprogram name changes? AMSBANK AMSINIT AMSMAP AMSOFF AMSON AMSPASS BASIC BEEP BIAS BLOAD BSAVE BYE CAT CHAR CHARPAT CHARSET CHARSETALL CLEAR CLSALL COINC COLOR CUTDIR DELSPRITE DIR DISTANCE DUPCHAR DUPCOLOR EA EAED EALR EAPGM ERR EXECUTE FCOPY FILES GCHAR GMOTION HCHAR HEX HGET HONK HPUT INIT INVERSE IO ISROFF ISRON JOYST KEY LINK LOAD LOCATE MAGNIFY MKDIR MOTION MOVES NEW ONKEY PATTERN PEEK PEEKG PEEKV POKEG POKER POKEV POSITION PROTECT QUITOFF QUITON RENAME RMDIR RMOTION RUN SAY SCREEN SCSI SECTOR SIZE SOUND SPGET SPRITE SWAPCHAR SWAPCOLOR USER VCHAR VERSION VGET VPUT XB XBPGM Further the documentation refers to RND as subprogram. Isn't RND rather a command? It's not working with CALL RND. EAED seems to be missing in the documentation, however CALL EAED seems to be in the subprogram list. Thanks a lot, Klaus
  2. exactly, you can define the Path for that when you click on Settings in the main menu of Web99.
  3. Web99 0.5 Beta 5 released http://www.ti99.eu/?page_id=3074&lang=en Right-click on a TiFile exports to Classic99 and now keeps its filename of what it had in the index. All special characters should be handled /correctly forwarded to Classic99. Klaus
  4. Jens-Eike H. is organizing Birkenau this year and organizing the European Treff in Kopenhagen. Klaus
  5. In the last days I have tried to prepare a merge of these two files by adding comment lines to the file if the other had a code or comment line to achieve a better diff comparison. It's not finished yet, but once it is, the extensive original comments from the 99/8 source code [intsim.txt] can be moved over to your work file [ROM-4A-a.a99] quite easily. Unless I made a mistake, the ROM-4A-a-comments.a99 file should still generate the same binary output. Whenever I added a line, i did it with "****". ROM-4A-a-comments.a99 intsim.txt
  6. Hi Jean Louis, thanks for the permission. Very much appreciated. I didn't understand what you mean with you "made a database". Is this databse public somewhere? Is it part of a website? May I take a look somehow? Klaus
  7. This is a great project and effort Lee! I tried my ways once to recreate a commented version of the console rom / groms for the 99/4a by starting from the 99/8 console source files, which were released. The "official" comments by TI are a great ressource. The 99/8 console rom can be considered to be identical over many parts, so the comments can be "moved" over to a disassembled 99/4a rom/grom file. Diff Tools like WinMerge [www.winmerge.org] are essential for such a comparison project. I also tried to align the sourcecode with Intern to include his comments. This is another source i discovered already on whtech: ftp://ftp.whtech.com/source/console.src The 99/8 source files are in the same ftp-directory. I also discovered another ressource for commented source files inside the Genie. Here is all what I have so far. I got sidetracked by some other "interesting" thing. TI-99#8-wip.zip System-Software-Lee.zip Maybe its of help.
  8. 9. humeur, May I use those photos/pics on http://www.ti99.eu ? Am I right, that the ones that ti99iuc is interested in, are all Brochures except the first from the left which looks like a book? Since you seem to have a large collection, do you have any European TI Software Manuals not pictured or mentioned on http://www.ti99.eu/?page_id=1369 and are able to help me get them listed or even pictured? Thanks a lot Klaus
  10. If you don't have bought the Cyc DVD you can ignore those links. It is then limited to information purposes to the fact that this document has been preserved and can be found on the Cyc DVD. I will not provide any Cyc Material on the website. If you have bought the Cyc DVD then you will know that the official recommendation in order to use cross-document linking (Document A contains a clickable link to Document B, which opens up when you click on it) is done by mounting the DVD data to drive Y. The gained value of the website for Cyc DVD customers is that you will be able to open your local documents directly from the website without having to search through folders, without having mostly ugly, unsearchable scans of documents. Most of the times only Cyc provides a version of the document at all. So leaving out this key provider as a document source in such a list would be stupid. And since we are in the html world, I use hyperlinks to actually link to that document. I didn't check for other ways yet where you don't need to change security settings for a site in firefox to actually make the link work.
  11. I have lots of ideas, maybe each manual takes you to a dedicated site about the Cartridge. Where there is more room for detailed information and pictures of Overlays, Keyboard strips, Addendums, Cartridge Labels, Packaging, Screenshots. More information can be added about the release, the manual reveal a lot of times the Developer/Designer/Author who might land on the page if he googles himself. In the mean time I got a Scanner to do scans of documents as well.
  12. I find it odd to ask why. Did you actually check out the content of the site? The content is unique and can not be found on other 99-related sites. It will be the home for - TI Austria Usergroup - Web99 Project site - my TI-99 collection [ including the TI-99/8, MBX prototype] - European TI-99 stuff not shown on other websites or at least not in english Language. Where else did you see the 1103xxx Product numbers decoded so far? http://www.ti99.eu/?page_id=1369 I hope for it to become a home for 99/8 and 99/2 Users to link together and share knowledge. I hope for it to become the center for 99ers to check and talk about internal TI Documentation [ http://www.ti99.eu/?page_id=25 ] Klaus
  13. I have finally started my TI-99 website. http://www.ti99.eu is it still being build. Btw: I am interested to get the manuals listed as 'Further available' here: http://www.ti99.eu/?page_id=1382 If you have those and want to trade or some money, contact me BR Klaus L. Vienna, Austria
  14. with this approach we can celebrate twice, so for our current year 2016 the year 1981 suits better
  15. I was quite satisfied with the stuff I have ordered. The only thing I complained about on the PEB extension cable was the plate acting as a gender-switcher was not in one piece, but came in 2 pieces. It appeared like being broken. The support then said it is shipped like that, because there is no dedicated 40(?) pin plate they could use, so they need to cut it down to the needed pin size. This was rather not satisfying because it affects the stability of the connection a bit. What I can really recommend is the Dual Disk Drive installation setup they sell, which allows you to install two half disk drives without any hardware mods on the PEB. I think to remember that I did report about my Dual Disk Drive Installation with photos on some thread in this forum.
  16. On June 30th 1981 the TI-99/4a was announced on the CES in Chicago. This means on June 30th 2006 our beloved computer will become 35 years old. Let's collect ideas to celebrate this date within your usergroup, within the internet, and with your computers. * in advance: advanced cleaning of all your units, so they are in pristine condition for the celebration * in advance: doing a Demo Contest with the anniversary as the topic * hoping for a cake from Sandra on the actual day * special usergroup meeting Please share your ideas...
  17. Now there is an Index at the top of the list. I value very much any preservation effort you and others did. The page links to the pdfs on Whtech, 99er.net and your local Cyc DVD if you have that one available. It's my goal to get this to the most complete list of all documents relevant to the TI-99. It's not like that everything will be linked or available, but at least such unavailable documents shall be listed so its clear what can still be discovered/scanned.
  18. Thanks for the tips, I will try to improve the list further of course. There are multiple tags from my original xml draft not translated yet into visual html fields. And I am still missing some documents being listed all together. Klaus
  19. You can find this document as many others linked on my upcoming page here: http://www.ti99.eu/Wordpress/?page_id=25#aa22491dcbfd44b6b85cfc0a770a86ae Here is the whole TI Documents page as such: http://www.ti99.eu/Wordpress/?page_id=25 It's not final yet. Klaus
  20. Texas Instruments Store Displays, these are really unique. http://www.ebay.com/itm/store-display-vtg-texas-instruments-ad-sign-floor-calculator-sales-computer-70s-/182004916826?hash=item2a6056a25a:g:fFIAAOSwAKxWW8QZ
  21. Good news, I got my own scanner for home now. So I can help scan some of my documents. Klaus
  22. Now I think you mean the GPL Interface Specifications for the 99/4 Disk Peripheral. That can be read here: ftp://ftp.whtech.com/datasheetsand manuals/Specifications/GPL Interface Specification for the 99_4 Disk Peripheral V2.0 03-28-1983.pdf ftp://ftp.whtech.com/datasheetsand manuals/Specifications/gpl interfce specs for 99-4 disk peripheral.pdf ftp://ftp.whtech.com/datasheetsand manuals/Datasheets - TI/TI99 TI GPL Interface Specs for Disk Peripheral.pdf Cyc Users: Y:\vendors\ti\internal\diskper\gpliface\gpliface.pdf
  23. Is this a dedicated manual by TI or do you mean the known GPL Programmer's Guide? I would be very interested to read such a manual.
