  1. I think I will tape my sunglasses to my head next time LOL Its one of the best stouts I have ever had! & that's saying something because I drink a lot LOL No I'm not sure the story behind the different roms, maybe Jim can chime in if he knows. Its interesting though thanks for the info.
  2. This is the right thread to make posts on, I made a error on the other one. This one should be working right! Thanks
  3. I'm sorry please Albert delete this thread as I missed up when I made it! Please every don't post on this thread as I made it in error. Please go to the other thread of the same name and make your posts on that one. Thank you and sorry for the error
  4. I wanted to show everyone a test box and cart that I made with the help of some fellow AA members! I made this prototype to see how close I could get to making it look like a official Micro Fun release and I think it turned out great! I have always loved Boulder Dash for the Colecovision and I have always hated Telegames. Boulder Dash is one of those games that is really good and extremely rare. Do to that combination, the price for the game is around $500+ That's a lot of money for a "in my opinion" ugly Telegames box & cart. I have been wanting to make a near perfect copy of Boulder Dash that looks just like Micro Fun would have made it back in the day. I have talked to Collectorvision and if there is enough interest Collectorvision would be willing to make a official homebrew release of "The Micro Fun Boulder Dash" that will look just like my Prototype. This is not a preorder as Collectorvision will take care of that. This is just to gauge interest to get the green light on the project. My question to you is "would you want one?" I'm not sure of the price of the homebrew release as it depends on how many people would want one. The more people interested the lower the price will be. I don't think it should cost much more then a normal homebrew release but that would be up to Collectorvision to make that call. Here is my video showing off the game: http://youtu.be/-NQCfD_ZJXc As a bonus to all my Canadian Colecovision fans I also incuded in the video a special Beer Review of the best Canadian Beer I have ever had!!!! Let me know what you guys think!

  6. I can't seem to figure out how to make it so you can see the video straight from Atari Age. I used to be able to just by copy and pasting the link but for some reason that is not working anymore Albert if you can help me and let me know what I'm doing wrong that would be great. http://youtu.be/DKVo1bnDdNI
  7. Well I'm happy that you where able to get that. I look forward to seeing if you get it graded Its cool to know that there's a NIB Robin Hood out there and its preserved! If you ever want to sell it in the future let me know I think you got a good buy! & a one of a kind item especially with the ability of getting it graded
  8. I just want to let you know that you probably won't find one perfect that is brand new. Its hard to find a nice one period NIB or CIB. You may find a opened CIB that is in better condition but I believe this is the first Robin Hood I have ever seen that is still sealed. Unless someone finds a warehouse of those that nobody knew about, that is about as perfect as you can get for a sealed Robin Hood. I wish I had $500 right now to drop and I would get it.
  9. Ya if I saw it I would have gone for it! Talking it through with Colecodan I would be willing to bet money, someone stole it from someone's mail and then pawned it off. I had that happen to me on a VGA 90 Halo game I bought, someone stole it on my front door and then saw it on ebay a week later. I got my money back on the game but that didn't matter as much because I really wanted the game!
  10. Well you would think so but you would also think that someone selling the game would list it in the description on ebay. I would love to know how the seller got the game. He started the listing at $6.99?? which is random also. It seems obvious that he didn't buy it from Collectorvision. A $150 game brand new goes for $68 because of the lack of description. Maybe your right maybe it was stolen and then pawned off. That makes the most since then any other theory. Its all kind of weird that is for sure. I wonder if anyone on AA has gotten robbed lately? or mail stolen???
  11. After seeing this auction go for so little $68 I was looking at the sellers history and I think the seller may be a pawn shop owner. As he sells a mixed bag of stuff and what looks like mostly pawn shop stuff, which makes me wonder if PONG was out in the wild also to start with and then moved to ebay. Just a guess http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-Of-17-Sega-and-Atari-Games-Shinobi-sonic-nba-jam-Venture-NO-RESERVE-/390843554796?nma=true&si=msJgBBAI0jKT%252BwtIirp6BrgCMzo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Someone got a amazing deal that is for sure!
  12. Maybe it was a pissed off girlfriend putting up her boyfriends game collection She is probably happy with the $68 LOL
  13. Wow that is a steal! I wish I would have seen that! Its funny the seller listed all the items in the description accept the most valuable item in the whole lot LOL
  14. I like new in box collecting also, but with the colecovision there is so many super rare and odd items to collect, that's what most of the hardcore collectors for Colecovision go after, instead of going after new items. Most of new items on the Colecovision tend to be pretty common items with just a few exceptions which also lead to the disinterest of new collecting. Where Nintendo and newer systems its a totally different, people are all over new collecting as its a much bigger pool to play in. Who knows though things may change in time, you never know the future. Yours and my new collections may be super sot after in the years to come Here's to hoping!
  15. Toby you have the coolest stuff!!! :lust:
  16. Ya John I believe so go to his website on the first page and you should be able to get a copy of the game. The game is fun for a few times but gets old fast. This game was a bonus game on Debris Revisited on the Vectrex. Debris on the Vectrex was way better and I really hope he ports that game to the Colecovision. I did a review/playthrough of both games on my channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGafTKtDlA0 Debris & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxGfCmWBWeI Astrododge I also did a older review/playthrough of the Colecovision ver. of Astrododge I think I will remake that one sometime soon as I have learned a lot more stuff on you tube since then but you can link to it from my Astrododge Vectrex playthrough
  17. It looks like shill bidding to me........
  18. Yes Collectorvision did make cart only of this game
  19. Thanks one of these days soon I will do a collection video, I just need to get my room cleaned
  20. Here's a few pics of my VGA graded games. I also have a number of sealed colecovision games that haven't been graded yet like Tournament Tennis, Sammy Lightfoot, Threshold, Quest for Quintana Roo and many others
  21. Ya I was shocked and happy to see it there. Its cool to see homebrews at retail
  22. Ya I was shocked on how cool this place was! It has events for shooter games every month!!! Plus I was just shocked to find a Homebrew Colecovision game! I thought it was pretty cool!
  23. This was the first time I have seen a ColecoVision Homebrew show up in the wild!! If you want to skip to the part its at: 2:38 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKVo1bnDdNI I'm wondering if anyone else has seen a homebrew from here pop up in the wild?
